Well, I think I know how the picture fooled me. It was driving me nuts, to think I could fail to recognize James Harrison.

James has a very prominent, bulbous forehead...impossible to hide it on TV, or in a candid still photo. But a professional photographer can downplay it in a posed picture. Another thing: dressed, he's one of those guys who appears to have no neck...his head just kinda spreads out, down to his shoulders. Shooting him with no shirt was smart. I'm bettin' that James loves this pic!

As a hunter, I'd like to suggest that plashke should extract his head from his ass, and kiss mine. Is he so dumb, or so limp-wristed, that he doesn't quite get the "hit man" metaphor?

And good-duhh might want to think twice before imposing fines on players for exercising their right to express themselves.

OK, I took a minute to find the Fighting Sioux logo. The warrior appears to be noble...strong, brave, serene. Does anybody know if the actual Lakota people have a problem with it?

I mention this because a few years back, Eastern Michigan University dropped the name "Hurons" and went with "Eagles," without bothering to ask the Huron people what they thought. It turns out that the original emblem wasn't degrading, and most Hurons liked having a team named after their nation.

what pisses me of is that as far as i understand they are being pushed to make the mascot change by the fed......but i don't hear anyone bitching about utah, san diego state, florida state, or even the fucking washington redskins!
