FIFA has layers?

(Shrek reference)

I think it's funny how Jack Warner refers to the Onion as "the paper" - Newspapers contain facts.

/So I Married an Axe Murderer reference

Buffon will have to steal one tomorrow...

/I was watching a show on Sportsnet last night that was picking the starting 11 for Italy all-time, Pirlo made the squad, but they went with Dino Zoff instead of Buffon between the pipes.

I don't care who makes the squad as long as they're all required to sport Roberto Baggio ponytail mullets.

my EYE-talian cousins had a popular saying for him ... "Toldo ... mostrare cul par soldo" (shows his ass for money) ... a bit harsh for the hometown boy (Padua) but it was a catchy rhyme :noidea:

LMAO.

Italy at the time were spoiled for choice at keeper with Gigi, Toldo and (to a lesser extent) Abbiati, much like Spain were during their reign of terror with Iker, Reina and Valdes. Don't know if we'll ever see one country producing as much GK talent as those two did at those times again.
