I know it was League Cup action, but we had my dad's funeral on Wednesday of this week and that was the day Southampton beat Arsenal 2-nil. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed that result.
Shit. Sorry man. That's awful.I know it was League Cup action, but we had my dad's funeral on Wednesday of this week and that was the day Southampton beat Arsenal 2-nil. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed that result.

MLS Cup Final sold out after 3 minutes of public ticket sales
MLS Cup Final sold out after 3 minutes of public ticket sales
Grey Cup in Toronto sold out in 8 months or so
/with lots of tickets given away with purchase of pizza
//not sure where I'm going with this lol
If it were on the Eastern seaboard I'm sure Toronto fans would travel. I'm not sure how many seats got allocated for Seattle fans (I know a bunch of season ticket holders were thrown out of their seats and moved to the shitty seats for them & sponsors etc.) but I'm guessing there won't be more than a handful of them, either.Just try and imagine an mls final at a neutral site though lol

Maybe I worded it poorly but I was making the same point - if the expense isn't too bad the diehards will follow but very few are planning their lives around the event and I doubt many if any neutrals give much a damn.and if it were on the west coast? ... say in San jose? 2500 tfc fans travel? at most?
point i was making is neutrals still dont care about a final game that the mls wants to prop up as a sort of superbowl for their league and thats a problem
Bold prediction: Next pork chop to win the award won't be Ronnie.
