He's generally considered the best Robin.no if's, and, or maybe's...
but you can't question the kid's cold blooded efficiency...
I just like Grayson because he was the O.G.

Fuck, this turned into a comicbook character comparison thread. I missed out.
I have to figure out YouTube commenting .what I mean is my account is linked to my Google and my real name shows if I want to comment. Not the worst thing in the world, as I'm seven degrees separated from John Doe, but it bothers me searchwise.if you EVER wanna see a complete comic book nerdfest try YouTube and look at the character comparisons there AND the responses of the people who respond...
Superman vs Hulk...
Shazam vs Thor...
the list is huge, and sometimes the responses are out there...
Yeah, and it was pretty fun...lolFuck, this turned into a comicbook character comparison thread. I missed out.
Dude, Dick Grayson Robin was awesome.
.....which would explain why the comparison bothers you.
Dick Grayson, Robin, eventually takes over and becomes Batman.
Grayson, Cato from Green Hornet...all Sidekicks that surpassed their superiors.
You like Marvel.
So, how about Jean Grey ?
Jean was more powerful than Professor X.
But, she wasn't confident in her abilities....
Kinda like Ben and his jumper.
I’ll never be sold on Robin. If Robin were so great, Dick Grayson wouldn’t have needed to “graduate” to become Nightwing or fill in for Batman. He’d just stay as Robin.
I love Jean Grey, though I’m not sure about the “more powerful than Professor X” line. Debatable, though she’s very bad ass.
You know that. I know that.
Most of these slobs have no idea who Nightwing is.
They associate Robin as being more of a lesser sidekick.
The fools.....
She is. It's referenced in the movies. She's a class five, same as Prof X, but I believe in one of the movies they refer to her as more powerful than Chuck.
He might be the better telepath, but Jean has 'other' powers....
All true. Depends on what you mean my “more powerful.” Ive got my doubts that she could best Xavier in a battle. And we don’t know what would happen if Phoenix and Onslaught were to battle one another.
She’s probably more powerful. The movies are not gospel, though. In fact, I’ve thought most of the movies sucked.
Dude, she totally surpassed Xavier.
It was always a issue of control with her.
Jean Grey: It has also been said that Jean Grey is an omega level mutant with telepathic and telekinetic abilities. With that being such a rare combination, shes pretty powerful. But her being "younger" and inexperienced she wasn't as formidable as Prof X with her telepathy, but when she housed the Phoenix force she had unimginable abilities linked directly with her telepathy. So with her being an Omega level mutant that makes her more powerful than Prof X and every other psychic mutant regardless of the Phoenix force.
The Phoenix force gives her the edge.
I’ll concede on this issue. I’d take Jean Grey over Xavier. Still not sure she could actually defeat him if needed, though. Regardless, her powers are much more valuable overall when having to battle others.
.....and I concede that Simmons is not Alfred.
That's not what I was suggesting. But, I can see why Philly fans would take it that way.
I see them more of a Magic/Kareem tandem, not Kareem and A.C. Green.
Kareem got the buckets, Magic set the table.
The dynamic in Philly is very similar....imo
Hope that clears it up a bit.
and then there's Damien Wayne...
Son of Bruce and Taliia.
Dude was a straight Dick...lol
That is fucking AWESOME.And for the record:
Burt Ward was the best Robin and Adam West the ONLY Batman.
It was my 2nd favorite show after Star Trek when I was a kid.
I've also met both Adam West and Burt Ward.
Both were really cool. Met Adam West when I was running an AT&T store in Palm Springs (he was obviously pretty old by then, but as soon as he spoke...you knew who it was).
I adopted a Great Dane from Burt Ward and his wife. They have a Great Dane/large breeds rescue called Gentle Giants in Norco. When I adopted my Dane, that was only breed they were rescuing at that time.
That is fucking AWESOME.
Dear Gawd....Super Hero and cute dog stories all rolled up in one.Yeah, I went pretty close to full geek each time. With Adam West, he came in and was walking around the store and I'm thinking "That old dude looks familiar. Where do I know him from?" I walked up to offer assistance and when he spoke, I said "Batman?" He kind of chuckled and said "Yes." lol Then I told him all about being a fan of the show.
He was pretty cool about it. Probably happened to him all the time.
With Burt Ward, it took me a little longer to put 2 and 2 together. Mostly because I was more focused on the dogs. Ended up adopting a brindle Dane named Bambi. Truth to tell, she adopted me. After doing the paperwork and talking about Batman (yes, I did it again once I figured it out lol) it was time to let the dogs out to run around.
She comes running out with the other dogs, sees me, stops, comes over and lays at my feet. His wife looks at me and says "Well, I guess we know which one you're getting." lol

Mrs. TF12 better keep an eye on your ass before somebody steals you....lol
I love to here stories about Stars that embrace their iconic roles and are gracious towards the fans.
That's not always the case.
I was just watching the clip about Lynda Carter finally getting a star on the WOF.
I was smiling like a fucking idiot when she did the Wonder Woman pose....lol
Whether or not Mrs. TF12 agrees would depend on the day and how much trouble I've managed to get into. lol
I agree about the iconic roles. It made you famous, provided your lifestyle, just enjoy it.
There's a channel called MeTV that shows a lot of those old shows, including Wonder Woman. Also has Batman, Star Trek, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Gomer Pyle, etc. I have gotten my son hooked on the old Batman show. He actually dvr's it so we can watch together.
This is wonderful.
My youngest and I did the same with the 2 Seasons of Wonder Woman.
We rented them from the library over Spring Break last month.
Yeah, my son was pretty funny. He says..."This is awesome. I grew up with the dark, somber Batman. I had no idea this Batman ever existed." lol
When he was younger, he was a big fan of the Rocky movies, so he knew who Burgess Meredith was. He loved it when he "Mick" as The Penguin.
Yeah, I love the Rocky movies too!
I'm glad you are putting him up on game about the classics.
Although he did a great job, and it killed him, Heath Ledger is not the classic Joker.
Ps. Cheessy or not, Jack killed it too.
