Just discussed that with regards to another employee that is stealing food from the refrigerator.

I rubbed some hand sanitizer on a few bottles so that it will leave a film. Next week I will ask the known thief "D" if he wants to know the prank I pulled on Bubba. Then I will tell him I have been Mushroom Stamping all of his Mountain Dews.
Sit back and watch him squirm.




Mushroom Stamping = Rubbing the head of your dick on something and leaving a little shmeg, typically a soda can, for an unsuspecting victim to then put to their mouth.

I get the joke, but if you aren't careful you might become the "mushroom stamping guy". Now I generally don't care what people think about me, but there are limits.

Even though you didn't actually do it, if you did a good job pulling it off, the perception could be that "not actually doing it" becomes questionable.

Spent some time this morning learning how to process a whole alligator.
I hope to go alligator hunting this fall during the Georgia season.
Alligator meat is lean, high in protein, and no cholesterol. Oh, and it tastes good.

How can major corporations support a sporting event that is outright racist?

If I wanted to start a sports event where only white footballs were eligible to play, there would be people looking to kill me. Yet, I just happened to turn my channel selector to the NFL Network and lo and behold, there a football game. HBCU LEGACY.

No white or Asian players. All must be black. Am I being over sensitive about this??

Very much so. It's celebrating the legacy of historically black colleges and universities. They don't exist to push racism, they exist because of racism.

While I agree wholeheartedly, this is a form of reverse discrimination. If we really want to get rid of discrimination we need to get rid of programs that discriminate against any race. Especially when the programs are not privately funded. It's 2025, there was a time and a place for things like this just like unions. It's not that time any longer IMHO.

It’d be wishful thinking to think as a country we’re over our deep seeded racism, but in our current culture we have a president that was introduced into politics in the notion that he could guarantee proof that the then black president was not American … that most Americans compare an attempted violent coup on our elected government with riots from protests of racial inequality and killings … and then deny teaching that bias exists in our legal system … and even today, a very popular congressional representative once again declaring the illegitimacy of Obama’s citizenship …

I know there’s a movement to pervert the meaning of ‘woke,’ but at what point could we all convincingly claim that no one has to ‘stay woke’ anymore? Maybe when any one group doesn’t have to yell that their lives matter?

I'm really getting sick of the left in the country. Booing the National Anthem at a sporting event is now their way of whining about losing an election. Elections have become more about winning or losing than electing the best possible representative to an elected office. It's gotten so bad that truly good, qualified people will not run because of the extremism at both ends. The Democrats have begun to swing more toward Socialism and scream that the right is destroying Democracy. This country is not a democracy, it's a Republic.

Democracy - "a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections." In other words, it is basically a political philosophy or system in which the rule of law ultimately lies in the hands of the people (this is key), who have votes to determine the course of law. It does not necessarily require that people vote on everything - you can have representatives. If people vote directly on policy, that is called a direct democracy. If people vote in representatives to subsequently vote on policies, that is called a representative democracy. Democracy in general would be contrasted with something like a dictatorship in which an individual wields the power and there are no free elections, votes, etc - the people don't hold the power, an individual (or group) does.

Republic - "a sovereign state or country which is organized with a form of government in which power resides in elected individuals representing the citizen body and government leaders exercise power according to the rule of law." In other words it is a representative government, referring to the structure of the government, as opposed to perhaps a monarchy in which there is a family line.

99% of the people in this country couldn't tell the two apart with a guide map. Even reading what I posted above would confuse 90% of them without anything more than a political science degree. And half of them would be equally confused and would want to argue that they are basically the same thing.

The real problem is that people don't care how the government is operated as long as their party is in power. If they get taxed an extra 100% of what they pay, it's okay as long as their party is doing the taxation. If the opposing party is in power, then nothing that they try to do is correct or good for the country. Therefore, it's a four year scream fest.

Here we are in 2025 and the President of the United States has been in office officially for 32 days and the opposition is booing at the National Anthem at a Four Nations Hockey Game. How many of them are ready to defend themselves in a fight to the death to protect that "Right to Free Speech and Expression"?

Why were his college records sealed for 100 years? Could it be that his grants to Columbia were Foreign Student Grants??
