So...now he not only wants back on the slave ship, he wants it so bad HE is actually reaching out...Pfft...
To be honest, he did help the 49ers get to a Super Bowl. He is not "Untalented".EXACTLY!!!!
I never cared about players kneeling, it doesn't effect me, though I found it to be an odd way to protest something. Alienating a massive part of the American public seemed like a strange method but whatev.
Colon took it further though. He not only started the stupid kneeling shit, but then he went on claiming to be a slave while making millions. All this while not having the ability to crack the starting lineup.
And I won't even comment on the pig socks or the Che Guevara shirt.
Fuck him.
AgreeOkay. Would you trade a second round pick for a 3 time Pro Bowl LT who's 29? 3rd rounder and he is 31 years old - 21st ranked OT.
Would you trade for Kirk Cousins to run the Patriots offense? Nope
Would you sign Kapernick as a backup? I would not sign him to be a tackling dummy!!!!!
On that same vibe...Vibing on a new start. The ole lady and I just got back from a trip to NH. We have been talking about a healthier lifestyle in an effort to accomplish this I plan to give up the wicked whites, and reduce my bourbon to one glass on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. I read where rowing works 86% of your muscle groups and is a great all around work out. Amazon was just having some super Prime Member discount deals so I picked one up for about $260 that was cost after 43% discount. Plan start at reasonable setting with a 12 to 15 rowing time, that may be a reach and may get reduced to ten minutes. I want to build up slowly as to not get discouraged.
Anyone here use a machine like this?>

Get a bicycle. The number of indoor machines that become clothing hangers within a few months is staggering. With a bike you can enjoy the outdoors while getting that cardio/resistance training you want. Buy an indoor trainer for it when you don't want to battle the elements. On that same vibe...
I ran a half marathon this past weekend.
Well...ran is an exaggeration of sorts. I did run, but not all of it.
The last time I ran a race was the Tennessee Ragnar in 2019. I about lost my knees when I was done, living on the third floor didn't help my post race recovery doing stairs a few times a day.
My wife has wanted to do the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon in Louisville, KY for a while now, the first time we signed up was Covid cancelled.
She ran it. 2:08
My plan was to walk it with a 15 - 16 minute/mile pace as the minimum was an 18 min/mile.
Well, I averaged 14:18 because I couldn't help myself and the spirit of competition got me running. I ran maybe half of it. 3:10 was my chip time.
I felt pretty damn good.
Spiritually anyway. My feet hurt, my ankle hurts, my quads hurt. Good news? My knee feels great!
I still struggle with stairs though. Might have to go see a specialist. there is like no strength to lift myself up a stair with my right leg. I have to launch with my left and kinda maintain momentum with my right.
I'm down 12 lbs in training and we are talking about the Vegas Rock N Roll Half in February.
We've done the Nashville and Virginia Beach Rock N Roll Half Marathons a couple times each.
I like a rowing machine. Gives a good aerobic/anaerobic workout. Some cardio as well as resistance for good fat burning as well as conditioning.
My wife and I have talked about getting one.
I have two.Get a bicycle. The number of indoor machines that become clothing hangers within a few months is staggering. With a bike you can enjoy the outdoors while getting that cardio/resistance training you want. Buy an indoor trainer for it when you don't want to battle the elements.
But rowers are a good workout
Sorry to hear that. Have you had a professional bike fitting? A lot of those pains go away with having the proper set up.I have two.
A Caloi full suspension Mountain Bike and a Dawes Road Bike. And I always wear a helmet.
Love to ride, have arthritis in my thumbs and wrists and am in pain for weeks sometimes after a ride from leaning on the hand grips too long. Need to do something different. Also have a padded seat on both but don't care for the pressure for extended periods.
But yeah.
No, but I should. I think my handle bars are a bit too low. I am comfortable for the most part, mostly my thumbs and wrists ache for a while after a ride.Sorry to hear that. Have you had a professional bike fitting? A lot of those pains go away with having the proper set up.
I can no longer run back and knee issues. Turned to cycyling a couple years ago. I cycle about 4x a week along with weights and stretching.
A real pain in the ass for sureA colon backup sounds painful!
I have a beautiful and expensive mountain bike that now sits.I have two.

Sorry to hear that. Sacro-iliac pain sucks.I have a beautiful and expensive mountain bike that now sits.
I rode all over okinawa and surrounding islands and got great use from it.
Now I'm suffering old age and the aches and pains that have accumulated.
My Sacro Iliac joint is giving me great trouble right now. I'm hoping to get an injection into the joint tomorrow.
My bike sits even though the exrcise is needed/wanted because bike riding is not recommended with this.
Apparently the forward lean is tough on that joint.
Never had a problem with it in my life until the rehab from my knee replacement.
Doctor is of the opinion that the injection will make this pain go away and not come back.
Do I sell my bike after dealing with this severe pain for a year?
My bike sits and awaits my decision......
If you enjoyed riding, go get a professional fitting. There really is so much involved from seat height and width to the angle and position of the seat. Height and width of handle bars. Who knew we had sit bones? I didn't until I started cycling. Maybe you need a different style bike with more or less suspension? I know after measuring my sit bones and getting the correct size seat as well as it's positioning, I really started enjoying my cycling more. A lot of those old age pains went away. No, but I should. This is why I run (Hobble fast). I have to because I can.I will never take having two working legs for granted again.

My son recently started dating a girl who has been in a wheel chair for 30 years.
A former boyfriend crashed his car and then drug her behind the wheel and ran away. Did the crash make her a paraplegic? Was it his actions of dragging her injured body? Who knows.
But she hasn't had use of her lower extremities for all of her children's lives.
Many times that could have been me.
Wow, I reread what I wrote...rushing because I was at work.Ya, I'm pretty lucky in that the good Lord has yet to make me pay for some of my really bad decisions over the years. This recent motorcycle crash was coming to me and I got out of it with a broken fibula.
Interesting story about your kid dating the girl in the wheelchair. Not gonna lie, I wonder about the sexual aspect of a relationship like that but have absolutely no idea of what that entails. Good on your boy for looking at the person and not the persons situation.
