I didn't expect the Knicks to be good but I think most everyone expected them to have more than 10 wins at this point in the season.

I would say Bucks. ATL at least made the playoffs last year w/out Horford and now with a healthy Horford most people expected them to be a solid team at least.

Milwaukee had the worst record in the NBA last year. 15 wins total… and they have been without their top pick for some time now & Larry Sanders has been a non-factor this year (bought out) yet still find themselves 7 games over .500 and sitting comfortably in the EC playoffs as a 6 seed. Jason Kidd should get some COY votes imo. Not win it, but he should get 2nd or 3rd.

The Milwaukee Bucks in a landslide

The HAWKS were an obvious easy call in a Miami-less east. They played great all last season before Horford got hurt. I expected them to win 55+.

Golden State has been a playoff team for a while.
It is not a jarring surprise to go from a 50 winnish type team to a 60 win type team.

I though Milwaukee would win 15-20 games and be in play for the #1 draft pick.

The Rockets because If someone had told me Howard would miss half the Season, I would have assumed the Rockets would be playing for ping-pong balls.
