Go Pack Go

Circling back to this one. Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers. With a narrow 39-38 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Packers are unoffcially the SportsHoopla's most storied NFL team.

I'll leave the Cowboys out of it because I am a Cowboy fan and don't want to make it about that.
So 46 people voted and some left off the Packers and Steelers in their top 10? People can't even drop their agendas to admit the obvious?

My 10 votes were for: Packers, Steelers, Niners, Giants, Cowboys, Bears, Raiders, Browns, Patriots, and Colts. The only doubt that I had was whether to vote for Colts or Broncos as my final team. Then I thought of Unitas and I had to go with the Colts. Also, I like the Colts uniform better.

391 votes from 46 voters, so some people didn't use all 10 of their votes, which is valid if you genuinely believe that there are not 10 storied NFL teams. Still, I would think that everyone would regard the Packers and Steelers as storied and that they would be storied enough to both be in the top 10. I would love to hear the reasoning as to why someone didn't vote for one or both. Steelers are too new of a franchise? Most of the Packers' titles are too old?

Edit: Actually, I misspoke. Steelers are old. I meant to say that maybe some people feel that their championship success is too new, as it only started in the 1970s. LOL.

I did notice not everyone picked 10 teams, but even if you picked 4 or 5 teams you have to pick the Packers and Steelers, no?

Fans of division rival may see it differently.

I asked my Los Angeles native wife to tell me the first 4 NFL teams that come to her mind. I wanted to know which teams a non-sports fan would think of first. She quickly said Bears, Cowboys, and Raiders. She then paused, thought for a moment, and picked Rams as her fourth team. I feel attacked.
