this is such a weird poll. I went off the top of my head with Cowboys, Packers,Vikings, Steelers. Didn't even consider Patriots. I guess it depends on how old you are and how you view the word "storied". I'm sure 10 years from now I'll be like "of course the Patriots". I guess their success is too recent (even though it's been 20 years now) for me to use a word like "storied"

Kind of insulting to see the Rams have so little votes. The team, that has won a championship in 3 different cities, the first west coast sports team, the helmet design inventor. The first to sign black players before the Dodgers signed Jackie Robinson, a team that went to 5 Super Bowls, was relevant for most of their existence, except for 90s and 2010s. Top 5 in playoff appearances and hall of famers. Some teams don't have a comparable resume and only great for a few decades

Empty calories hurt unfortunately once we get as restrictive as top 10. I was surprised to see them have so few votes myself though. Fearsome Foursome, GSoT, and what not.

Yeah, it seems weird to put the Pats in there, given that virtually all of their success has been in this century. But, they've had the GOAT QB, some really dominant teams, plenty of memorable comebacks, and 6 titles.

Minnesota has the Purple People Eaters and all those championship appearances in the 70's, plus the old Metropolitan Stadium, but sadly no titles.

I went through your list and couldn't list less than 12 teams and those didn't include the rams or commies, which belong as much as the bottom 6 of my 12.

They've mostly been pretty mediocre in the SB era. Even the Peyton Manning Colts had a reputation of being Peyton, the receivers and everyone else. Tough to put either in the top 10. I can't think of a reason to put them ahead of the Dolphins outside of recency bias.

I did the opposite, Brown were really good back in day and Paul Brown. Colts in Balt because of Johnny U and then the overnight move to Indy and Irsays as owners, knocks them out for me
