I was reading this morning(can't find the article now)That Bradford was in fact told beforehand there would be a QB taken in the draft to groom. Supposedly, the GM went into the meeting room to tell everyone about the trade up to #2, expecting them to be excited. Bradford apparently got right up, stormed out and hasn't been seen or heard from since. He hasn't returned ANY phonecalls from the coaches or management.

Classy, huh?

Sounds like he will be the biggest retired child in history.

Sam had his chance. Maybe the Rams were not the best place to begin your career when he was drafted but he had his chance with two different teams. I think him not playing most of his senior year hurt his play on the field. The injuries are too bad and I feel sorry for him because of that but that's the NFL...part of the game. He should do whatever it takes to stay on the field even if he sits on the bench. Maybe one day he will find a team and a situation that works for him and he will do well...I'm just glad he is not still a Ram.

As others have said, I don't understand why he continues to get chance after chance, he has proven absolutely nothing other than he is average when he does play well.

did he REALLY beat him out though? Bradford came into the league as one of the highest paid QB's due to that ridiculous contract. NO WAY he was going to sit making that much money and taking up that much of our cap space...
