I could only last 15 minutes before I had to turn it off. It was like a spoof of a spoof of the original Joe Dirt. Just awful. It was so bad that it made me think making Super Troopers 2 might not be a good idea.

why this movie is hailed as an unknown gem is beyond me...tilda swindon was great though. "be a shoe." and the ending is just dumb dumb dumb.

The ending totally ruined the movie for me.

Watched Joe Dirt 2 today. It's available for free at Crackle - Watch Movies Online, Free TV Shows, & Original Online Series if anyone wants to check it out. I don't think it's been released anywhere else.

It was ok. No where near the 1st one, but I didn't expect it to be considering it was 14 years later. I was kind of ready for it to be over, but it did have some pretty funny moments in it.

If you expect it to be like the 1st one, you'll be disappointed.

This is the 1st time I saw it. An incredibly silly, almost stupid film, but I just have to say it was very funny. Having all the popular hollywood people as whiny, selfish and self-absorbed a-holes was hilarious.

Agree. It was a funny movie, but not on any all-time lists or anything like that (IMHO).

But having all the current big comedians and young stars star in a movie AS THEMSELVES and to portray themselves in that manner was a real coup.

to all the actors who really did themselves dirty in this one (I am looking at you, Channing Tatum).

Yeah that was funny... I think all of them to basically agree to play themselves as jerks (and worse) was great.
