Run All Night

Had low expectations and the front half of the movie wasnt bad but then it lost me towards the last quarter.

Id say 6/10. Had some nice humor in it!

Technically the last 2 movies I watched...

Jailhouse Rock - Elvis of course. Not bad at all....

Walk Among the Tombstones - Liam Neeson. I really liked this movie. I didn't realize it was a Lawrence Block novel with Matthew Scudder as the main character. Been so long since I read it I'd forgotten. More movies like this should be made instead of comic book superhero offerings.

Jackie Brown A-

Better than Deathproof but not quite as good as the rest of them. Still pretty amazing

That one always makes me think I'm watching through ski goggles, that yellow/orange tinge. And too damn much CGI.
I agree, but I think that's what I like about it. It's "over the top." I love the battle scenes, especially when the one Spartan starts laughing while under his shield and the millions of arrows are raining down on them and he says "we'll fight in the shade." Just over the top machismo. I love it. It turns me on.

Watched "Your Next" last night. Got the name from the "Horror" movie thread and it was as advertised. Good twist at the end and the survivalist chick was one bad assed bitch.

I don't like much about it. I don't even think I finished watching it when I rented it.

Something called Tusk? Exceedingly lame.

Had the young guy from the last Die Hard movie? And Johnny Depp was in it too.

The guy gets captured and turns into a walrus??? It was a steaming pile for sure....

Jurassic World

7/10

I didn't feel ripped off after paying 10$ to watch it so it had to be pretty decent right?

Some cheesy parts, some well timed comedy, I didn't like the t-rex and fake t-rex fight scene, I didn't like the bird scene. But overall, I'm glad I watched it in the theatre.

Watched Walk of Shame. Went into it thinking it was some damn chick flick, and it turned out to be a pretty funny movie. Was pleasantly surprised. There's a scene that takes place in a crack house and it's possibly the funniest scene in the movie.

Yeah I heard a lot of people got turned on watching that movie with all those oiled up men walking around wearing just speedos and kneepads then deciding to accessorize with capes and leather. (how fantastic) Actually I heard they have a pretty specific term for those guys that got turned on by that movie.

I love Jackie Brown. LOVE IT.
Jackie Brown's biography is just....odd. A super-independent down-on-her-luck older woman who looks good, makes no money, has no love life and has no kids. In real life if you see someone like that, you run and you run fast because that unicorn is crazy.

I really liked the movie, though. It really captivates you and is all vintage Tarantino

I really need to give Jackie Brown another viewing. I dont think I have seen it since the theaters. And I usually like Tarentino movies better the second and third time around.

Just got home from seeing MAX. Story is a bit hokey but the dog is great. Not a superhero dog, just a dedicated military dog that did time in Afganistan and lost his handler. Made me want to go out and adopt one.
