I know it's just me, but I thought Django and Inglourious Basterds were God awful and flat out stupid. And I one of those guys that is in Tarantino's camp. I love the rest of his movies.

I thought Django was kinda over-rated, but Basterds was AMAZING.

However, I have only seen Django once, so my opinion may change upon further viewings.

We agree on everything here, execept I think I would swap positions with Pulp and the Kill Bills. I was very, very disappointed in Jackie Brown. It is probably better than I give it credit for, but still one of his lesser movies, imo.

I could watch Reservoir Dogs a thousand times and never get tired of it.

I could watch Reservoir Dogs a thousand times and never get tired of it.

I see his movies more so in tiers, than an actual list. RD is, IMHO, his CLEAR best movie. Tier 2 would be KB and PF. Basterds and DtD are a shave under those, then TR and Django. NBK is hard to rank, since he did that one in conjunction with Stone. It was clearly better than DP and JB, though.

Yea. To be fair, I am not sure I have seen it since the theaters, and that was right after Pulp fiction, so expectations were SUPER high.

I am always open to giving QT a second chance. He has more than earned it.

On the flip side...

In order for JB to move up the list, it has to be a LOT better upon second viewing. The competition is very stiff.

Selma. Better than I expected.

Thought they did a tremendous job with the casting. And unlike many BioPics, didn't take many liberties. I was impressed with the movie. Especially with how well it was focused on a somewhat brief period, yet involved background throughout.
