Thats a bit of a low hurdle

X2 was one of the better rated movies of 2003. Not just comic book movies.

Pretty unanimous among critics and viewers.

I can see why some didn't like it, though. Only a few comic book movies I'd put above it. To each their own.

the 1984 movie "The Philadelphia Experiment" where 2 sailors are part of a Navy experiment in 1943, get sucked forward in time to the year 1984.

I've seen this movie a dozen times over the years.
It really isn't that great, but for some reason it grabs hold of me and I just watch it.
This movie rates about 6/10 on my scale, for no really good reason.

It's a time distortion movie that probably has more of a cult following than anything.
I'm also partial to the same kind of movie with Kirk Douglas called "The Final Countdown" if anyone has heard of that.

Sure, but you said this movie was the best since that one. Which means you were comparing it to X3 (utter garbage), Wolverine (vanilla mediocrity), The Wolverine in Japan (the Wolverine where he isnt Wolverine most of the time) and First Class (pretty decent but some inconsistencies.

X3 utter garbage? You mean the movie that brought us the classic line "I'm the Juggernaut, Bitch!"?

Say it ain't so! :pound:

The Grand Budapest Hotel

7/10

Quirky. Very Wes Anderson-y. If you like his work, you'll love it.

i agree with everything you said about all of those films.

:omg:

That is hilarious.

And yes, the scene from movie had to be referencing this. The pacing was too spot on.

Anchorman 2

4/10 Some funny moments, but didn't live up to the first one. And I have no idea why Champ went on the gay run or how that was supposed to be funny.
