Saw Interstellar this weekend. Pretty interesting plot, and the 3 hr length didn't bother me too much. My girlfriend normally can't stay awake for any movie and she made it all the way through (impressive).
8/10.

Madea Goes to Jail. It was NOT good. I've seen a few other Madea movies that were much better. Two Stars only.

Why did you make the conscious decision to sit down for 2 hours and subject yourself to that?

I cannot imagine I would ever make that same decision in my life. If I do, I will need to SERIOUSLY rethink the life-choices that led me to that point.

Watched Snowpiercer on Netflix. Dumb doesn't even begin to describe it, but that's the best 1 word review I could give.

Reminded me a lot of Looper. I watched it without checking many reviews and came out thinking it was almost laughably bad only to find out the reviews were amazing. I guess I just don't "get it".

I don't think I've heard anybody give this a true "middle of the road" review. Everyone has either said definitely check it out or that shit is stupid. Currently in my que though.... just sitting.

The last two at the theater was Book of Life and Big Hero Six. Both solid movies for the kids. 4 year old was dancing at the end of BOL. They had some great songs. BHS was great with the 14 year old.

On the computer I saw Tell No One. It is a French subtitled flix. I give it a 8 outta 10.

Just saw Interstellar today.

OMG!!!

Amazing movie. It was 2001 with a side helping of Signs. I did not do a lot of research into who was in it (outside of MM and AH), so I was totally floored by the cast. Every new character was another big actor playing a role too small for their stature (Lithgow, Caine, Grace, Damon, Affleck).

I was worried that it would end up being more Hollywood propaganda packaged in pretty wrapping, but the end-of-world was not presented in any political landscape. It was simply the setting.

I need to see it again now to catch all the intricacies of the plot/story.

9.5/10

Just watched We are the Millers w the wife tonight, I'm generally a half decade or so behind on movies. It was like a new release for me, fairly humorous but not the absolute hilarity some had it billed as.
