The Last Movie You Watched (no spoilers)

I recorded On The Beach.

Not sure when I'm going to watch.

I watched that one based on a recommendation of an older coworker about 15 years ago...

I know it has something to do with a nuclear missile getting launched, but outside of that, I have absolutely zero recollection about the movie...

I just looked it up on IMDb... nope, no recollection of the movie. I seem to remember that I kinda liked it, but not blown away by it...

I found it powerful the first time I saw it. When they went to the beacon they had picked up and the whole city was dead,, desolate. Everybody on sub deciding they didn't want to die down under and the sub and crew left and Waltzing Matilda was playing.....

I dunno, it makes me think of current times a wee bit.

Never heard of it.. David Mamet, huh? I'll definitely have to check it out.

Its one of the best "what the fuck" movie endings ever. You think you have things figured out but you dont or at least it makes you feel like you have no idea. Great movie

Red Dawn (1984) I liked both versions for different reasons. I feel like if they had combined the two, they could get a real good movie.
