The Last Movie You Watched (no spoilers)

Saw Arrival today. Was okay. I felt the movie was trying to be a little smart for it's own good, and kind of a blatant rip of Interstellar.

Not bad, but I think overrated (IMDB has it as an 8.3 or something goofball).

Also watched Vacation (with Ed Helms). A lot better than what I was expecting but not quite as good as Christmas Vacation or the original Vacation. *** out of *****

The Hateful Eight

It was your usual Tarentino fare. Lotta bad men, at least one bad woman, whole lotta violence, gore, and derogatory words. In otherwords.......I enjoyed it.

My particular favorites were Sam Jackson and Walton Goggins. And while Sam has been in 98807998789 movies. In Tarentino films he plays the same character and Goggins always seems to play the same character in the movies I've seen him in as well. I enjoy both characters,

I thought Vacation was pretty good. At least as good as the original which I liked quite a bit. Though it has been a while since I saw it. Rusty with his clueless ass and the dude who plays Thor in the Avengers movies had me rollin during the bedroom scene,

Just finished Don't Breathe.

Horror/Thrillers are hard to pull off while being believable, creative, and actually thrilling, while not being cheesy.

Don't Breathe checks those boxes for me and was an enjoyable film.

Patriots Day

I thought it'd be very difficult trying to make a somewhat accurate yet entertaining film chronicling this sensitive and emotional event, but they pulled it off. Marky Mark's character was the one that didn't actually exist, but he was a story-telling tool to pull everything together. Very good movie.

The Room was a good movie certainly worth a viewing, it will tug on your heart strings as if the director is your puppet master. The mother Joy gave an Oscar worthy performance and she won it for it.

London has fallen...........Excellent movie............9.5 of 10

I deducted .5 for the fact the bridge blowing up and few other scenes were kinda unbelievable.
But other than that an awesome action packed movie.
