Saw We Are the Millers about a week or some back.

Decent enough brainless comedy. I have nothing against that.

But they RUINED Jennifer Anniston. I still rate her as one of the hottest in Hollywood, but they had her doing things that a 50 year old, no matter how hot, should not be doing. She does NOT have a strippers body. Having her act like a stripper just accentuated the fact that she has more years on her than anyone would like to admit.

To be fair.......she was 43 when it was filmed.

And Kenny seemed to enjoy her dance!

Watched the Kevin James movie Here Comes the Boom with my godchildren the other day. Not bad for a family type movie. Clean enough for kids and funny enough for adults. Not nearly as dumb as James' movies usually are.

A History of Violence

Viggo Mortensen. Don't really understand the high ratings. Very average IMO. Sexy wife.

31 by Rob Zombie. Definitely not the worst movie I've seen of his but not the best either. 2 out of 5 stars.

The Passengers (2017)

Pretty good movie, but felt like the resolution could have been done a lot better. Quite a lot of buildup to the "inevitable ending" and the resolution was maybe 1-2 minutes? Leaves you feeling robbed lol. Still, Jennifer Lawrence & Chris Pratt have some really good acting chemistry. Great story that pulls some good emotions out of the audience even though it was very predictable. Feels like I have seen this exact plot & setting before but can't think of the movie. If you're not into the drama then its at least worth seeing for J-Law in a strangely sexy one-piece bikini.

Watching Revenge of the Sith right now. It has probably been 10 years since I last saw it.

The fact that this was the best of the prequels (by a large margin) goes to show how bad the first two really were.

I am not sure I could, in good conciseness, give it more than a 4/10 rating.

Collateral Beauty

Horrible timing on my part to take my wife to this movie just 6 months after having our first child. For those of you that don't know what this movie is about, long story short its about a man coming to grips with losing his child at a young age. I honestly had no idea what the movie was about specifically, but the trailers made it look good so I thought why not? Needless to say my wife & I bawled our eyes out for 50-75% of this movie. It was brutal. Great movie though, however much like movies such as Marley & Me or Simon Birch, the amount of emotion it pulls will make it the first & last time I watch it. If I had to dissect it I would say its a tad convoluted and there are lots of plot holes. They tried really hard to go for the profound approach which works fairly well but it leaves you with some serious questions. I think if I watched it a few more times I might comprehend more of it to connect the dots.

Pratt screwed up.. He was on the verge on spending a life-time on a "desert island" with J-Law

Problem there is that he would actually have to listen to her. Sometimes trade-offs are a bitch.

I will admit the snarky little punk had a few good moments. He still looks like Alfred E. Neuman.
