LOL. Yes It was very unclear. He may have closed the fund because he couldn't deal with the fact that the market is rigged. He seemed the type.

But I honestly don't know.

So Brad Pitt and his pals did ok too, right??
I believe the Pitt character did not make any money at all. He was just helping the two kids.

Straight Outta Compton, I give 3.5 out of 5. A good movie, but not really worth watching again.

BvS

I went in with perfect expectations, and that allowed me to actually enjoy it. It ran a bit long in the middle, Eisenberg was baffling, the apex of the BvS fight was eye-rolling. But, at the same time, Affleck was actually pretty good and the way they introduced the "Other guys" was actually well done (I was not expecting that to be well done).

6.5/10

I think it actually has quite a bit of re-watch-ability value.

The Big Short 8/10

Very good acting and solid screenplay but nothing mindblowing.

Sicario.

I'd been wanting to see this for a while. The border shootout scene was great.

9/10

Dat ending tho!

Without spoiling, what makes it rewatchable and do you think the extended 30 minutes would improve the film by filling in gaps?

Last movie in a theater was the last Star Wars movie. Bad acting, same script as the original Star Wars movie, bad special effects. My date actually fell asleep a couple of times during it. Nonetheless. I give it 6 out of 10.

However, on TV the last couple of weeks, I've watched:

The Godfather I and II. Movie making perfection. 10/10 on both counts.

The Sting. Again, movie making at its best. Great acting combined with great writing. 10/10.

Patton. One of the best movies ever.

Thunderball. The best Bond movie ever. Great Bond girls, great script and great special effects for the time.

The Outlaw Josey Wales. Just a great entertaining movie.

There is a lot in the movie, so multiple views should provide some new revelations. The fact it is sooo long (and boring, at times) prevent it from being a classic type movie. I would like to see the extended cut, but again, the movie is already too long. Adding 30 mins will make it a real chore.

Eisenberg's a strange dude. Good actor (great in the Facebook movie), but truly an odd duck.

They turned down Bryan Cranston in favor of Eisenberg. :L

Tho I guess he's supposed to be young, I assume?

Eisenberg actually auditioned for the cameraman in the desert, but Snyder pulled him in for Lex instead.

Apparently, that CIA cameraman was supposed to be Jimmy Olson. They totally did not make that clear in the movie.

At least tell me it was better than Man of Steel. Please?

From previews and such, I thought Affleck looked pretty good as Old Batman...

Saw Lucy again with Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman. By the same director who did the 5th Element. A quirky sci-fi film like Limitless where a drug that unleashes the full power of your brain gives you "super powers" Well done

Star Wars; The Force Awakens. 5/10

Maybe the most overrated film in history. Dialog was too campy. cheesy IMO. Overall, not a horrible film, but given the nerdgasm heard 'round the world, it definitely qualifies as overrated.

The Hateful Eight 6.5/10

Pretty good flick, tho I thought the plot was obvious. Ending kinda sucked.

Both would qualify as overrated IMHumbleO

It is not a bad movie, 6.5/10 and have to expect the next movie will be better.
