At least you guys aren't at risk of snow. In DC, a half inch of snow has turned a 6 mile drive into a 6.5 hour ordeal for me on two separate occasions.

Here, schools are cancelled for 2 days if 4 or 5 inches are even in the forecast.

Usually it melts rather fast, you folks in Virginia aren't used to getting it though sometimes it seems like it doesn't melt as fast for you folks
