Agreed - best they will do is 5th in rankings and have a hell of a Rose Bowl with Penn State. But not real confident the Ducks can beat Utah in PAC Championship. Sorry Old Timer pretty sure Ducks gunna win next week.

Don't be too sure of anything!!! Even if the Ducks beat USC next week, Utah has to beat the Huskies. USC still has a chance to win the South, as they beat Utah.

We have no illusions of who we are. USC is not well coached but talented when healthy. With Drake Jackson, Talanoa Hufanga and a bunch of others hurt and true freshman filling in the Oregon Offense will be hard to stop. USC offense has it's passing game but down to 4th and 5th string RBs who are talented runners but wont help much in pass protection. Its a home game and USC plays much better at home so hoping they can keep it close. Thankfully we have the better Pittman WR. He could make it interesting.
As for USC fans being a sad bunch not thinking it's a big game. Well it's like Lakers fans and western conference titles. It's nice but not what we shoot for

Agree. They might be the best PAC team but that doesn't mean they are elite right now.

I think Oregon can hang with any team offensively, it's their defense that is a concern.

IMO in the game against Auburn their defense let them down at the end of the game. I believe they will score at will against USC, but can their defense stop the Trojans?

Yes. Not on every possession, but USC will be kept out of the endzone on at least 2/3 of their drives.
