When you have a running back that can get you 257 yard rushing, then Herbert didn't have to do much. Herbert didn't have a bad game, he was 21/30 for 222 yards.

Yeah, I would have said it was a forgettable night for Herbert up until the final drive. He was unusually clutch when it mattered most.

I think Oregon can hang with any team offensively, it's their defense that is a concern.

Why?

Washington St's offense averages 42 points per game. (They scored 31) (-11 at home)
Washington's offense averages 36 points per game. (They scored 35) (-1 on the road)
Auburn's offense averages 34 points per game. (They scored 27) (-7 on neutral field)

Oregon's defense averages 15 points per game.

Other than the two Washington's and Auburn that were ALL held under their averages....

6, 3, 6, 7, and 3 were scored on Oregon's defense.

Okay fair enough, I was basing my comment on Oregon's defense in the Auburn game. Oregon had that game won and then their defense collapsed in the 4th quarter.

Agree with the bold. However, Auburn is probably better up front and just wore them down on both side of the ball.

How many more Oregon opponents will be as good as Auburn up front?
