Lost our 42nd game. So no 50-50, though we knew that for a long time. We were 26-26 both seasons (last and current) but now are 29-42. 3-16 since. We would have to go 8-3 to tie last year. Why didn’t we finish like 3-16 last year? Markkannen was out, too. 11-19 after 26-26 looks night and day better than this year.

I believe a buyout includes being waived. A buyout is for less than the contract was stated for.

Being waived, with no mention of a buyout, either means that the player gets the full money owed. Or, sometimes there's stipulations that a player must be on the roster beyond XX/YY/ZZ date to receive QRS money. If he's waived before, he doesn't get it. So a team might waive that player before that date.

We traded for a pick swap, cash consideration, and rights to some player G league team. So I think maybe Westbrook gets all his money when waived, but we got money from the Clippers?

Yes.

I don't think Koprivica, the player that was traded for, is under contract in Europe anymore. We'll see if he comes to training camp, or remains overseas.
