LOL. Rams in 1984 were only 10-6 and the passing game was led by Jeff Kemp at QB, with Henry Ellard, Drew Hill and Ron Brown at WR. They didn't have the passing threats (2300 yards passing) to keep defenses honest like the Eagles do.

If you want to crown him best yards/carry, you're not close there either. If you want to say he had a better overall season, perhaps. Again, different eras and team circumstances.

to me. I dont care what personality Dickerson has.
He was one of the best ever when talking about Runners.

Everyone knew he was gonna run. Hell the Rams sent a telegram before every play stating here comes Dickerson. Try & stop him.
He still ran for over 2000 yds & a nice avg to boot. he was the Rams offense back then. All defenses knew it & all defenses tried to stop him. What he did with what he had as help, was simply amazing.

I despise the Eagles but I'm happy for the guy. I've thought he was special since seeing him his rookie year, but he was never going to reach his full potential with that clusterfuck of an organization. I hope he breaks it and knocks Dickerson off that pedestal.. I don't even remember why I don't like that guy, but I do recall not liking him..lol

The only argument against him as that he's already won it twice which isn't a good one at all. Stats-wise he beats Allen in virtually every category.. by a lot in a few. His team has lost 2 more games.. that's it. I should probably change my vote.

What Rams fan is hurt about someone breaking Dickerson's record? Dickerson is a bit of dickhead. So it wouldn't be the worst.
