Love those gyro's.
No, his horrible screetching makes Bob Dylan sound as smooth as Mel TormeDid he bang your girlfriend?
Damnit! Janet!Yummy’s on University has the best gyros in Denton.
Not a place for live music, but does anybody else here miss Milady's on Prince?I used to hit the city after midnight when working during college.....The Slaughtered Lamb is where the Peculiar Pub used to be before they moved to Bleecker St.....We would hit that Greek place Karavas which was on West 4th for a drunken gyro sandwich before heading home....Good times....
He's incredible. Not many people can sit on a stool with an acoustic guitar and harmonica and keep you thoroughly entertained for two hours. He sucks.

Edit: His voice is worse than STevie Ray Vaughn's
Saw him once. He's incredible. Not many people can sit on a stool with an acoustic guitar and harmonica and keep you thoroughly entertained for two hours.
BRAVO BRAVO
The first time I heard the Doors I barfed.
I don't think Steely Dan is overrated at all. I've never heard of them referred to as one of the best.
You never know what you are going to get from him but he is brilliant when he wants to be. I know him a little bit. I always tell people my claim to fame as a musician is that Eric Clapton once referred to my playing as "rubbish". I mentioned that once to Neil Young at an event I was at and he told me "Don't worry about it, he says that about everyone". Cracked me up.Saw him once.
By the end of the show I wanted to be there less than he did. Which was hard, since he clearly hated everyone who paid money to see him sit on that stool.
Worst. Show. Ever.
I have to agree about the Doors; over rated. All this talk about Morrison as a poet; good lord! The Doors overrated??

Man, was he high, or what?
I loved early Steely Dan. Don't know anyone though who has ever seen them live since Fagen's stage fright was so bad and he couldn't sing live. They were gret on tape but I often wonder how, or if they played live at all.Steely Dan had a very irritating sound. But I eventually got used to hearing "Deacon Blues."
