I think you missed th emphasis. The emphasis was "appreciate", and not calling you out for being biased. You know and like Mike, therefore you are biased... That's a fact you stated. Biased says you have a reason to be swayed, not that you are a villain. You have a very good reason.

I think he received your post better than you realized. No issue, words written in text lack context and we've all read into a context that wasn't there. YR can be strictly literal but he's a good guy. We all have our quirks. When you have a spare month, I'll share mine.

I just care that you do. We all have our reasons. For me it was because my dad did. I was at my grandparents house when I was 6 or 7 and they asked me what I wanted to watch and I said there was a football game on. My grandfather said "Your dad would be so proud"
This was right after my parents had gotten divorced and I hadn't seen my dad in a while. I was instantly a fan for life.
