Moving on from and eating salaries like Khris Davis and Odor, dealing veterans and fan favorites like Andrus and Gallo, while also showing a willingness to play young players like Trevino, Heim, Ibanez, Solak, Allard, Hearn, Dunning, etc... shows a shift in mentality that many of you have been clamoring for for years

I'm willing to give Young a little wiggle room as he's shown a willingness to make the tough decisions JD seemed incapable of towards the end of his GM tenure

Minus Crouse, I didn't have many issues with the trades they've made in the past few months

Looking forward to see the young guys play when their time comes in coming years, should be fun, and also painful, to watch going forward

I’m looking forward to Jung, Foscue, Winn, Alexy, and Yerry being up mid year next year.
Hopefully Huff and Bubba Thompson as well.

Really hoping JP can be a high OBP, speedy CF that can swipe bases when needed
Really need 2 high contact high AVG guys who can bat 2 and 3 as well. That’s who they should focus on making sure they get/have.
The guys who can hit 30 hrs a year seem kinda easy to acquire/develop.
I want to see a Craig Gentry type player, I believe he was very under rated, at the top.
A guy who can hit with runners on is also very underrated. Michael Young type. If a guy on first goes to 3rd thanks to a single and sets the table for your RBI machines that’s all you can ask.

I get that but we don’t really have 6 guys that profile as a player as valuable as Taylor. We have like 4 and of those 4 only 2 will pan out most likely. Every team needs a few players brought in to help the team.

Rather use the rest of this season and next season to evaluate our young kids and then determine what holes we have and fill those with FA’s in 2023

I like him as a third rounder, they picked him a round too early. They could have done better. Had they chose someone better in the second round and picked him in the third round it would have been a huge difference maker as far as how good our draft looks.

Round Rock is playing OKC tonight. For OKC, Feliz is on in relief for ABD.

There was a lot of offense on display for Hickory today. The three newcomers had 8 hits between the three of them including 3 doubles. Foscue had a double. Crim had a HR and a single. Ornelas has 3 hits playing in CF, where he has been moved to from the infield, due to all of the newcomers. Newcomer, Gowdy was roughed up while throwing 5 innings.
