Where do you get this nonsense? One can never tell how your mind works but since the BIG broke up into East and West Divisions (2014) the SEC East is 7-4 vs the BIG West teams and is 6-3 vs the BIG East teams!




If you go back to 1990 (count games for teams that played in the SEC or BIG for each game) the results are:
teams in SEC East vs teams in BIG West 28-18-0
teams in SEC East vs teams in BIG East 17-9-0.

Surprisingly, since 1990 the SEC East is 45-27 vs the ENTIRE BIG conference while the SEC West is only 23-21 vs the ENTIRE BIG conference! What some people don't realize is that without Alabama the SEC West still has 3.5 NC's since 1990 which is more than the BIG CONFERENCE (or PAC) has but the SEC East has 5 NC's.

And despite SEC East teams winning more of the head to head matchups against B1G West teams, of which there are only 1 and a half on average each year, the B1G West teams finished in the Top 40 in # of AP Votes in the Final AP polls since 2014, 25% more often than SEC East teams.


Seems 1.5 games a year, out of the 50+, on average, ooc games played by the 14 teams in question are not the end all and be all according to the pollsters.

I merely pointed out that a) the B1G West has only been around since 2014 and b) over the span from 2014 to 2021 the B1G West is only 4-7 vs the SEC East. Is that your idea of faring well? I went to point out that if you wanted a longer span the spread only gets worse not better.

Stop making mis-leading statements. Your sentence implies that the B1G West team play 1.5 out of 50+ games per year or less than 3 percent. Since 2014 the B1g West teams have played 196 OOC games including Bowls. Of the 196 games, 22 were against FCS teams, 94 were against G5 teams and only 80 were against P5 teams (including ND). That means the B1g West teams played the SEC 11 games out of 80 vs P5 teams or 13.75%.

As if that crap isn't bad enough now you want to switch to pro-football. This is about the B1G West vs the SEC East (as in COLLEGE FOOTBALL.)!!
