There are a lot of ways to look at the match-ups: total wins by conference, percentage wins by conference, ATS, etc. But it seems to me the fair way is to look at the match-ups from a conference rank vs conference rank.
To compare conference with different # of teams means that adjustments are necessary. This assumes that ALL P5 conferences are equally good. Thus all # 1 are equal but SEC team #14 is equal to Big 12 team #10 and PAC 12 team #12. Thus for the PAc and Big 12 Conferences their rankings need to be adjusted. For team in the PAC 12 and the Big 12 I have included their original conference rank inside parentheses and what they would be in a 14 team conference. Here goes.

Finally,

We'll see how well the "ALL P5 Conferences are alike" idea works!
