no disagreement....CFB and bball are totally different. But you do need to consider these OOCs are usually scheduled years in advance. Hard to know who will be top 4 in polls 5-10 years from scheduling. Pretty certain bball schedules are made up year to year when it comes to OOC.True, but let me ask you this? Do you think the NCAA and the universities would ever schedule the top 4 teams in the polls to open the football season to play each other, and then have the winners play each other? 3 teams with at least one loss. Nada.
I know OSU scheduled Oregon and TCU when both were top 3-4 teams at time of scheduling. wasn't the case when they played TCU and doubt when they play Oregon. I'm sure other teams have done the same. Bama with FSU, for instance.
