he Sox are lacking in starting pitchers and there's at least some intrigue in Seabold and they get three years of Pivetta. Pivetta showed some promise in 2018 despite a high ERA (high K/9, good FIP/xFIP) but he failed to build on that and got moved to the bullpen. Pivetta's a project, but I'd rather bank on him improving than the majority of their current options. Eovaldi and Perez are the only replacement level pitchers right now, the rotation is a disaster. I'll miss Workman though, he was a damn good reliever last year.
