You played the two worst teams in the B1G and you were struggling in the first half against Rutgers. And you narrowly escaped with the win against Arkansas State.

Iowa damn near won against arguably the best team in the B1G and whatever the hell Michigan State is this year. I agree Iowa has no quality wins but because one team is 2-0 in conference does not automatically make them better than a team that is 0-2.

Umm I think according to how the B1G determines conference standings it does. Right now tied for 1st in our division

Still can't believe Wisconsin ducked Ohio State and Penn State and gets michigan at home. If they're not 11-1 at season's end, something is wrong. A win is a win, but that was a sad effort against a very bad Northwestern team.

As much flack as OSU's offense has gotten this year, they're still 5th in the nation in total offense per game, and that's with the 2nd and 3rd string playing nearly half of the last 3 games.

For Wisconsin - best case is obviously undefeated until the CCG. I think that eve if our only loss was to Michigan, we drop like a rock.

And what makes you so sure that Wisconsin is all that? The best they have played is Northwestern and they, with their porous o line, put up 24 on Wisconsin's vaulted defense.
Nebraska has their problems but clearly so does Wisconsin and right now they are both in the same position as who is the better team. Unproven.

I never said anyone was better. But just because you played the worst two teams in the Big Ten does not instantly mean that you are better than a team that is 0-2. You struggled against Rutgers at home while Iowa had a lead until the final second of the Penn State game. You also struggled against a mid-major that SMU just blew out. You are failing the eye test.

FWIW they played all 3 last year. This is what happens with 14 team conferences. Minnesota also doesn't play Penn State and Ohio State, but nobody really gives a shit because Minnesota isn't a CFP contender.

I just think every so often it's going to work out where they only play one of the powers in the East(PSU, MSU, Mich, OSU) and without looking to far ahead this appears to be one of those years.

It sucks that we don't have a firm game every year with Wisconsin. I have loved watching the last 15 years between these two teams. They've had some really amazing games. Hopefully we get to see them in December in Indy. That would be a hell of a game this year.
