Well at least Penn St. turned it into a game. Now Nebraska is in a dogfight, Purdue looks like dogshit, and Rutgers battling with a scrub team. BIG had all the hype last week but now they're coming back to earth.

That must make it tough to watch the Packers with Rodgers.

I never thought in a million years that a fan of the worst team in the history of the NFC would talk trash. Especially after the hail mary from last year.

We all apologize. Everyone knows the Packers are to the NFL what the Democratic Party is to MSNBC!:D

Well the Badgers defense give up first points of the season that didn't come off a turnover or a punt return. They gave up a FG at the end of the first half only because the refs called two phantom PI calls to put the zips in FG range. What happened to Home Field Advantage?

Apology accepted and I agree the Pack runs the NFL. They're the straw that stirs the drink. That's why the SB trophy is named after Lombardi and the MVP trophy will be named after Favre or Rodgers or both.

UM took care of business today, but UCF exposed some flaws with the team. They had breakdowns defensively, especially when the QB scrambled. Also -- the OL, which was supposed to be a strength on the team couldn't open up any holes.

I like the fact UM has put up a ton of points and Speight looks much better than I thought he would be. If UM can't run the ball though -- I don't know how they will be able to compete with top teams in the B1G.

Wow, what an impressive win for the Badgers. I was more impressed with this win than the LSU win. The Zips were leading the nation in passing with 6 TD's and 400 yds in the air last week but the Badgers shut them down and held them to 3 points on offense which came at the end of the half due to two BS PI calls on chucks from the ZIPS.

Offense: We finally have a #2 WR which we haven't had since RW was here in 2011-12 season. Peavy had 100+ yards and 2 TD's. Even our 4th string RB had a 50 yd TD run. Houston looked much better with no TO's and only tried forcing the ball into coverage once and took 2 sacks.

SPT's: Kick return, punt return and FG unit all were good bunt punt coverage struggled and gave up a TD because one guy didn't stay in his lane.

It's still doubtful we get through this brutal schedule unscathed. We will be darn lucky to end the reg season with just two L's. OSU defense is legit, Mich offense and D-line is outstanding, MSU pass attack is scary. I still need to see Neb vs Oregon and Iowa vs some tougher competition although Iowa St always gives them fits.

Overall the BIG had an up and down weekend so far. Penn looked dreadful but in the second half they nearly came back and won. Purdue QB had 5 int's so obviously they lost, and Northwestern is 0-2 vs cupcakes. After that the rest of the BIG did well and we need Illinois and Iowa to come through tonight.

You guys seem to start games off slow but get better as the game progresses. It is easier to win more consistently with a solid run game than a solid passing game. How is your secondary?

Not many teams in the country I'd trade our secondary with. Jourdan Lewis was an All-American CB last year and he has sat out the 1st two games and I think we've give up about 200 yards on the season through 2 games, with most coming when the bench was emptied. We returned everyone at CB and Safety with the exception of Jarrod Wilson (safety) from a unit that finished 3rd in the country in pass defense last year.

Now our LB's -- that's another story.

For as good as UofM's D-Line is supposed to be they were pushed around by UCF today. No way no how should UCF ever out rush Michigan at home.

The containment by the DE and the ability to keep the QB from running was an issue.

Well at least Harbaugh has something solid to bang on all week.

My B1G Power Rankings - after week 2

1) Wisconsin (2-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 1 - Badgers led 30-10 at halftime and totally dominated Akron. W over LSU is keeping them #1 right now.
2) Ohio State (2-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 2 - Given they really haven't faced anybody, it is tough to say if they are this great or the other team is that bad. But they are looking very good.
3) Michigan (2-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 3 - Outrushed by UCF, but Michigan destroyed the Knights. They were a good team.
4) Iowa (2-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 4 - Iowa completely dominated Iowa State. Worst blowout in this rivalry under Kirk Ferentz.
5) Nebraska (2-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 5 - Huskers have a big game coming up that could move them up, but they have looked very good.
6) Minnesota (2-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 6 - The Gophers dominated Indiana State. Leidner had 295 yards passing with 4 TDs and McCrary had 176 yards rushing with 2 TDs.
7) Maryland (2-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 10 - Perry Hills had a big game as threw 210 yards for 3 TDs. They bump MSU.
9) Indiana (2-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 12 - Don't let the 10-point victory fool you, Indiana dominated Ball State. Hoosiers had a 30-0 lead in the 3rd quarter. Lagow had 266 passing yards with 3 TDs.
8) Michigan State (1-0, 0-0) - Last Week: 7 - With Furman game failing to reach expectations for the Spartans, the bye week drops them down to 9th, as Terps and Hoosiers dominated.
10) Penn State (1-1, 0-0) - Last Week: 11 - McSorley had a big day as he threw over 300 yards, but the Nittany Lions did give up 42 points
11) Illinois (1-1, 0-0) - Last Week: 9 - At halftime, their game vs UNC looked to be a good one as they trailed 24-16, but they were outscored 24-7 in the 2nd half (17 of UNC's happened in the 4th).
12) Purdue (1-1, 0-0) - Last Week: 8 - David Blough had over 400 yards passing in their loss to Cincinnati, but the Boilermakers were down 31-7 in the 4th quarter.
13) Rutgers (1-1, 0-0) - Last Week: 13 - Rutgers got pummeled by UDub in week 1 and dominated Howard, but it was tied at 14 at the half.
14) Northwestern (0-2, 0-0) - Last Week: 14 - B1G's only winless team came by a MAC and a FCS team.
