Penn State stunk it up too. That offensive line is offensive. 10 sacks to Temple? ugh. Really thought they'd do much better. Franklin not going to be around long.

Great win for Northwestern. Tough loss for Nebraska. Feeling bad for Hazell at Purdue. The west is going to be an interesting race to watch.

I find it funny they are starting Iowa's reject QB. Let me say it again, HE WASN'T WANTED AT IOWA FOR GODS SAKE.

Before Crazy Jimbo's Crew hits the conference portion of the schedule he's gonna ask the NCAA for a 5th year of eligibility due to his shitty QB situation.

Ohio State and Michigan State are showing they are going to battle it out for the B1G.

Don't look now, Surprise teams
Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana are all undefeated.
Northwestern is undefeated with a win over Stanford.

Wisconsin will compete for the west
Penn State is in shambles.
Iowa has me worried. I am thinking that Ferentz might be pulling one of his, oh watch my team get ten wins seasons.
Northwestern has me worried. No idea on them. Are they for real? Is there a collapse coming?
Minnesota needed a miracle to beat Colorado State.
Illinois - please explain them to me. Find out next Saturday.
Indiana - WTF?
Michigan is playing as expected
Nebraska - oh boy. I have a very bad feeling about this team. The defense has me worried the most now. I think I am looking forward to the Womens' Volleyball and Bowling seasons.
Rutgers - looks like the toilet bowl might be swirling a lot
Maryland - not even in consideration.
Purdue is playing as expected

I made a new Cornhusker friend today. His family is like Nebraska football royalty. He is going to the Illinois game, I told him I was going to the Minnesota game. He did like my Husker gear but he wins because of the Super Bowl rings and the Big 8 Championship rings. He also asked for our recipe for the Chocolate Eclair Dessert we brought. He could not get enough of it.

My B1G Power Rankings

1) Michigan State (2-0) - After having the biggest OOC win in the B1G this season, Michigan State moves up to top spot in the B1G. They also were up pretty good on WMU before going in cruise control a week before Oregon came to town.
2) Ohio State (2-0) - Gave no reason for me to drop them down a spot other than not having an opponent as strong as Oregon. They dominated Virginia Tech and Hawaii. But MSU beat a Top 10 team.
3) Northwestern (2-0) - Northwestern defeated Stanford in week 1, so they have a quality win. And they shutout their cupcake in dominating fashion.
4) Wisconsin (1-1) - If Wisconsin was 2-0 right now, they would be in the top spot. Alabama's defense didn't allow Wisconsin to do much. I thought Wisconsin did okay vs Bama, but was out-coached. And they had a dominating shurtout vs a cupcake.
5) Nebraska (1-1) - 1 pass dropped Nebraska from 3rd to 5th. Just 1 pass. Armstrong is a solid leader on offense and Nebraska's defense is still strong.
6) Minnesota (1-1) - Their D looked great vs TCU, even though they lost. CSU looks to be a strong mid-major and holding them to 20 is good feat.
7) Iowa (2-0) - Iowa has 2 TD wins over a strong FCS school and Iowa State, but Iowa has only controlled the 2nd half. I was one that was upset over Beathard starting over Rudock. Yeah, I was wrong.
8) Illinois (2-0) - Illinois has outscored their opponents 96-3, but it is a weak mid-major and a weak FCS team. But Lunt is a strong QB and they dominated with a firing of a coach a week before the season.
9) Michigan (1-1) - Michigan's defense is strong, especially vs the run. Rudock seems to be making bad passing decisions that we didn't see at Iowa from him.
10) Purdue (2-0) - Win from Marshall wasn't super impressive with Marshall now 0-2. Purdue did beat Indiana State pretty good and is 2-0.
11) Indiana (2-0) - Indiana hasn't really dominated yet and have played cupcakes. But they are 2-0.
12) Penn State (1-1) - Temple is looking strong the first two weeks, so I will give PSU a little slack on that. But they only beat Buffalo by 13.
13) Rutgers (1-1) - Reason Rutgers is not last is they hung with their opponent on their loss and they had a handful of players removed from the team before the season.
14) Maryland (1-1) - What excuse does Maryland have? They beat up on Richmond and got beat up by Bowling Green.

Looks about right to me. Biggest surprise in the early going is Northwestern IMO. Biggest disappointment is easily PSU.

Meh, PSU's D is still really good. Their O is just pedestrian.

I think that's what I'm most disappointed in. Thought Hackenberg would be having huge games by now...he just never really seems to.

Yeah, I wonder how much Hackenberg's draft status is being affected? Isn't/Wasn't he one of the top QBs on the board?

Oline is a work in progress. Made some changes between week 1 and 2 that seem to be working. Pouring down rain on Saturday may have stunted the passing game but the play calling is head scratching.

Interesting to see where Saquon Barkley goes from here. Big breakout game for the RB.

Todd McShay has him #1 overall next year. Lots of people giving him a pass based on PSU's Oline issues.

He was considered the #1 pro-style qb available if he entered the draft.
