Holy shit is that an accomplishment!
It's Iowa so probably 7-5
The problem is our basement of Purdue, Indiana, Illinois is terribleAfter Minnesota's performance, if Northwestern hangs with or beats Stanky the claim that the B1G is just good at the top will be thoroughly debunked.

I thought the Iowa - Illy st game would be closer. Blowout midway through the 4th.
It'd be damn impressive for NW, no need to nutswing but Stanford was a 2 td favoriteI wouldn't brag up B1G if NW beats Stanford. 49ers have more returning starters than Stanford.
Nice call! I didn't think they had a chance but I didn't look into the game muchI predicted NW 28, Stan 27
If you read any of the coverage of the Big Ten this offseason you may have believed the conference had bucked the national narrative of being left in the dust by its rival conferences. After all, the Big Ten entered the 2015 season with the defending national champions at Ohio State, complimented that with a second New Years Six bowl winner in Michigan State, a winning record against Power 5 conferences in the bowl seasonand had the most notable coaching hire of the offseason with Michigan luring Jim Harbaugh away from the NFL. The coaches in the division certainly pumped their collective chests out suggesting the Big Ten East is now the most competitive division in college football, as if the Pac-12 South and SEC West had fallen off the map. Who wouldn’t feel good about the future of the Big Ten given all of these recent developments?
Any optimism about the Big Ten entering the 2015 season was quickly pounded into the ground in Week 1, with Purdue still scheduled to play a game on Sunday and the Buckeyes on the road against the only team to beat them a season ago (Virginia Tech Monday night). Northwestern scored the best win for the conference on Saturday byupsetting Stanford in Evanston in rather convincing fashion. But the scale was tipped the other way with Wisconsin getting run over by Alabama in Arlington, Penn State giving up 27 unanswered points in a loss to Temple, and Nebraska losing to BYU on a Hail Mary. Couple that with Michigan and Minnesota each losing Thursday night, Rutgers dismissing five players just before kickoff and Indiana having to escape Southern Illinois, it was a rough opening for the Big Ten....
