Don’t look at it as 0-6. Look at it like Nebraska has the chance for a perfect season. (In Nebraska’s Case, it just so happens to be all losses)

We're trying to be like the 2008 Detroit Lions! I like it!

Iowa is smart with alt unis. They wear them vs teams like Ohio State. If Iowa wins, the unis look cool. If Iowa loses, nobody realizes it is Iowa. Works with their normal ones too. If they look good, it's Iowa. If they look like crap, it's the Steelers.

My B1G Power Rankings after Week 8

1. Michigan (7-1, 5-0) - LW 2 - The Wolverines are the only team still undefeated in B1G play. They have yet to allow any team to score more than 24 points and their multiple TD win vs Wisconsin and Michigan State makes them look more impressive.
2. Iowa (6-1, 3-1) - LW 3 - Based off the past month, Iowa has looked like the 2nd best team in the B1G, even if they need to rely on the Badgers losing. They had a dominating shutout against Maryland and has blown out their last few opponents. However, can they survive a Penn State team that is looking to rebound from a struggling few weeks.
3. Ohio State (7-1, 4-1) - LW 1 - It is interesting how one game has a drastic change to how a team looks. Though Ohio State can easily rebound, a 29-point loss to Purdue really hurts in a power rankings. Iowa just has stepped way up since losing to Wisconsin.
4. Purdue (4-3, 3-1) - LW 9 - Since Blough has taken over at QB, this team has changed considerably. Are they the 4th best team in the B1G? I think they have looked like it over the past few weeks, which is what I try to base these rankings. I questioned myself to put them above Ohio State, so I didn't. Purdue's opponents just weren't strong enough.
5. Wisconsin (5-2, 3-1) - LW 6 - Taylor gets another 100+ performance while they run all over Illinois. It took them a while to get it going, but once they got good momentum, Wisconsin rolled through Illinois. They could very well be in a no-lose situation.
6. Michigan State (4-3, 2-2) - LW 4 - The Spartans have allowed more points than they have scored vs B1G opponents. Their win against Penn State might not show how good MSU is but show how bad PSU might be. Though they might not be in 10-14 spot, they are not 1-5 spot.
7. Penn State (5-2, 2-2) - LW 5 - PSU struggled against an Indiana team after they have lost two games. They dropped a spot because I felt Purdue should jump them. They don't look like the same team that was very close to beating Ohio State the first time around.
8. Maryland (4-3, 2-2) - LW 7 - Did this team beat Texas? If so, what happened? The teams they have beaten since are weak. If they face any team with a winning record, they got blown out. That includes Temple.
9. Northwestern (4-3, 4-1) - LW 8 - NW is a team that could shoot high on this list fast if they just keep winning, but they have not looked that powerful. Through the season, they have given up more than they scored. They needed a 4th quarter rally to beat Nebraska and they won by 3 against Rutgers, yet they are still on top of the B1G.
10. Nebraska (1-6, 1-4) - LW 13 - Scott Frost finally gets his first win as the Husker's HC. It almost seemed like they were going to up the choke job they had vs Northwestern. But they hung on to win. However, they have allowed the most points vs B1G opponents.
11. Indiana (4-4, 1-4) - LW 10 - The Hoosiers had a brutal stretch of games where they lost 4 of their last 5 games, only beating Rutgers by a TD. Stevie Scott and Peyton Ramsey do look good, but their defense is not there and they are not consistent on offense.
12. Minnesota (3-4, 0-4) - LW 11 - Injuries have totally buried the Gophers. For the 3rd time in last four games, Minnesota has given up over 40 points, and this time they gave up over 50 to Nebraska.
13. Illinois (3-4, 1-3) - LW 12 - Illinois hung on for a little bit against Wisconsin, but Jonathan Taylor and his OL was just too much for them.
14. Rutgers (1-6, 0-5) - LW 14 - I almost bumped them up a spot for hanging with Northwestern. Outside the Texas State game, it is the only time they lost by under a TD (they lost by 7 to Indiana). And their 5 B1G games were probably their easiest ones.

Not too many...., but not many other states' residents are mandated to take 30% of their wages off the top for the GBR Collective either.
So that’s how the pay for all of those fired coaches contracts.

Slow your crazy roll. I would say we're behind Mich, OSU, Wiscy, Sparty and Penn St.

If you went with strictly records, I can see how someone could get carried away, but watching this team, I don't see it yet.

MSU has beaten a very good Utah St team on the road and went into Happy Valley to beat Penn st.
Wisconsin beat us straight up in IC and even though we pretty much gave them the game, they still won.
Penn St hasn't played great, but has put up a ton of points. Until Iowa gets over the hump and beats them, I say their above us.
Ohio St is still the best team in the conference and will be favored in any game. Losing to Purdue doesn't change that.
Michigan has flaws, but did something we couldn't do-put away an inferior Badgers team at home.

I think this year's team is our best since 02. More offensive weapons and better overall D than 15 for sure . 04 and 09 would be close matchups . I honestly think we beat PSU by 10+. I'm more worried about Purdue . That offense is legit

You might be right, but so far this season, we continue to step on our dicks (i.e. Wisconsin). We move the ball between the 5s and 10s great, but have trouble once we get close and we have a QB that continues to throw bone-headed passes to the other team.

Our best win is against ISU. I have to see more.
