Sucks starting this thread so damn quickly. Back in the early part of the season I was hoping it would hold until after the first week or two of the playoffs. Oh well, time to start researching.

Not sure Poles is gonna get the ax, altho I honestly don't have a clue about that at this point. But it's pretty much a given that Brown will be canned.First things first. Fire Poles. Let Thomas Brown go.
If they do another half ass turnover, we deserve the shitty losing season we get next season too.Not sure Poles is gonna get the ax, altho I honestly don't have a clue about that at this point. But it's pretty much a given that Brown will be canned.
Trust me, I'm not arguing on behalf of keeping Poles, I'm simply saying I'm not sure the Bears intend to can him. Maybe they will, it would hardly shock me if they do. I honestly just don't know.If they do another half ass turnover, we deserve the shitty losing season we get next season too.

Assuming this holds up after the season is completely over, those back-back selections in the 2nd round will give the Bears some leverage in either direction.
Poles is gonna trade at least 2 of these for guys that other teams plan to cut.
Make that the 40th pick, my brain is fried and I miscounted. Still, having the 40th & 42nd spots, along with our 10th of course puts Poles (or whoever will be running the team) in a good position to make moves in either direction or simply stand put and take those respective picks.2025 NFL Draft order: Titans secure No. 1 pick with loss and Patriots win; Bears, Jets hold top-10 spots
A look at the current draft orderwww.cbssports.com
They only give the 1st round here, but it looks as if the Bears will get the Panthers 39th pick along with their own 42nd.
Is there a team that's been penalized a draft pick? Because otherwise, the Bears have Carolina's 40th slot. The Panthers are drafting 8th for the 1st round, meaning their 2nd round is #40 and our regular pick #42....unless there's something up with one of teams drafting 33-39, causing our two 2nd rd picks to drop a spot (which of course I'd love).
Could be a Tankathon error? Is there a team that's been penalized a draft pick?
I'm leaning toward it being an error.Could be a Tankathon error?
Did a google search... only thing that came up was Falcons taking a 5th-round hit for Kirk Cousins tampering.
