I believe it. Caleb was a hometown kid and generational talent. They even got one of his old coaches as OC. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

Anything's possible, but based on draft trade history, I'm going with it never being anything more than rumors, likely spread by all those internet GMs. But I suppose we can never rule anything out.

Some solid arguments and stat details support this writer's take. But let's start with the 3,000 lb gorilla in the room. When TF is he gonna be healthy enough to show what he can do? After a few appearances way back in the earliest of OTAs, Burden injured himself. The injury itself was kinda vague, the always sketchy 'soft tissue' bug. But it was enough to keep him out of the remaining team OTAs, including the mandatory. Now Johnson keeps stating that he'll be ready when final preseason camp opens, which for rooks starts on July 19th. One can only hope, because we all would love to see what this kid can do.
