Carter-Finley Stadium is now empty.
what's your opinion about UNC's insane recruiting class?
First of all, I like that UNC-C logo and I don't think I've ever seen their logo before.

College Football World Reacts To Disappointing Miami News
On Tuesday, the college football world received unfortunate news regarding the Miami Hurricanes' famous celebration.thespun.com
lol@Hitman Hart ever been to Canada eh?
lol
i assumed that Syracuse was losing a home game for this because - y'know, Syracuse is a lot closer to Ontario than North Carolina.
but nope, Wake is losing a home game to play in Canada.
fun fact: No Canadian woman has ever shaved their pubic region.![]()
Also noticed that Deacs will be losing a second home game in 2027 - they will play Notre Dame in Charlotte.Damn. Well I'm guessing they'll get more money this way. Gotta think the organizers are paying a good bit to move the game there.

and this will be the first season that the Grounds will be open in Winston-Salem: The Grounds
Week 0 game in Toronto should help with their media payout since it's merit based now.
It's 70-80 miles away. During my last semester at UNC Charlotte, I lived in Winston-Salem and would commute to Charlotte. It took me about 70 minutes. It's an easy drive, too.I was actually surprised they didn't do that last time ND played at Wake in 2018. Is Charlotte close to Winston Salem?
That's true about the ratings thing. That'll likely be the marquee game. Should get between 3 and 4 million.

fwiw, North Carolina's population is pretty compact. 75% of its population live in the 150 mile radius from Raleigh to Charlotte. That encompasses Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Durham.
yeah everyone lives in the middle of the state. A lot of people visit Asheville, the Outer Banks and to a lesser extent Wilmington - but that's not where the major population base is. Charlotte is 70 miles away from Winston-Salem, Winston-Salem is 30 miles away from Greensboro, Greensboro is 55 miles away from Durham, Durham is 25 miles away from Raleigh.Oh wow that's closer than I had thought. Yeah that's not too bad at all. I'm not sure how many ND fans will make that trip, but it should be a very nice crowd in Charlotte.
My geography knowledge of North Carolina is shit. I go to the OBX every year, but I feel like that's so far Raleigh/Durham and the Charlotte area.
