Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I'll always respect them for broadcasting ACC games for decades but the quality of their production is no longer acceptable

Their production quality has always been behind the times, and the insistence to ESPN that we prop up their failed business model for a few more years by maintaining a relationship cost every ACC school in media rights payouts. ESPN did not want to deal with Raycom, we forced them into the relationship and it cost us money for absolutely no gain.

This is a pretty big deal for SU fans. The last decent coach that said they wanted to stay coaching football at Syracuse of Doug Marrone who skipped off to Buffalo as soon as he could.

I decided to put this link up rather than the "Su/Babers sign long term extension" because all you learn in that article is what you just read. SU's a private school so they give out no details of the contract.

What they're saying about Dino Babers: Syracuse fans, media react to football coach's contract extension

lmao...I had to laugh when I found this thread. Talk about being burried into nowhere.

Still, I didn't want to start a "Oh boy Syracuse" thread.

New Indoor Facility for UNC. Love the twitter replies to the UNC Indoor Facility tweet as well. Heck, maybe they could also put up a couple of coach pics with Fedora and Davis. :dhd:

ACC Network will be broadcasting starting at 7pm ET this Thursday 8/22. Looks like for DirecTV customers the channel could be 612 which makes sense. That follows 611 (SECN).

Re: ACC Network
Q:
We have read that Directv will be adding the ACC Network to the channel line up effective 8/22/19.

Can anyone provide what channel number will be assigned?

A:
It's been in testing on Ch 612.

Things that bad in Blacksburg?
I guess so. Evidently Fuente knew it was bad enough to have him come for a couple of days in Blacksburg during Fall camp. I would be very surprised if this solves anything. SMH

Damn. Hate to hear that. I really wanted Fuente when we hired Chad Morris to replace Bill Napier. After the job he did at Memphis I figured y'all had hit a home run with that hire.

I really did as well. Heck even was fooled in 2016 when we gave you guys a bit of a run in the ACCG. But boy have things changed.

It really sounds like he's there to do all the administrative work and to teach Fuente how to be a head coach at the P5 level. At this rate, they should just put Fuente's buyout on an installment plan and fire his ass.
Amen. That's like admitting a CEO sucks for a Fortune 50 company and then deciding to bring in a 'suit' to help him/her do their job correctly. Most companies would fire that exec on the spot and move on. Those that dont (Circuit City comes to mind) just die a slow death...
