Well, if I was in Lexington, where I think you like your BBQ from, I would buy you the biggest plate on the menu. But since I'm not in Lexington, I've got to say that that eastern NC BBQ will always be better than any BBQ in NC from Lexington and west.

Eastern NC BBQ, for me it's Wilbur's BBQ in Kinston and Western NC BBQ it's Lexington BBQ, and there are no good BBQ restaurants in SC or Virginia

Actually, Wilbur's is located in Goldsboro but Kinston does have a good BBQ joint called King's. My favorite place use to be 'The BBQ Lodge' in Raleigh until Don Murray sold this business and retired. Parker's in Wilson and Greenville is good too. Eastern NC has a lot of good BBQ joints but the BBQ I had last night I made myself. I usually make about 10 pounds at a time and freeze most of them in 1 pound containers. I just like a vinegar base BBQ (Eastern) better than a tomato base BBQ (Western) but I agree with you that Lexington BBQ is good even though it is tomato base.
