lol, UNC is the worst team in the ACC w/o Cole Anthony
FSU does it again. We really didn't deserve the win (neither did Miami), but it's encouraging to get the road win playing mostly like garbage offensively vs a respectable, albeit depleted team. Much respect to Chris Lykes.
Nc State vs Virginia is just abysmal basketball.
I'll take the Natty Title trade off any day but watching this Virginia team as a fan has to be among the worst things in life.
3 way parlay. All money lines. Two underdogs And Virginia . Virginia loses, underdogs both win.
It is what it is. 4 of top 5 players left early or graduated. Had 2 lackluster recruiting classes in a row. Will be 10 times better next year with experience and Hauser.
I was proud of my Wolfies tonight as they went into a building they had never won in as a 6 point dog and won by 2.
If there's a game that defined the team this year, it was that game a little over a week ago against Syracuse. Most years, we would've ran away with that one by the end of the first half and cruised in the second. But this years squad has a hard time winning even when the other team does just about everything to hand them the game on a silver platter.
I'd be shocked if we were even considered for the NIT this year because I see a lot more losses for this squad before the end of the regular season.
And I'd be willing to bet if Diakite would've been thought of as even a 2nd round pick like Guy was, he would've bolted to the NBA as well and we'd be even worse.
Lol @ UNC ATS this year...

Are you sure that's correct?
State has had some good teams over the years while UVA was meh for a very long time.
John Paul Jones Arena didn't open until 2006.
NC State has definitely won in Charlottesville before considering they won 28+ games in league play from 1973 to 1975.
Yeah that building isn’t super old and they mentioned on the telecast how Nc State hadn’t won at Virgina in like 10 tries
Yes, my statement was correct about NC State winning in that arena for the first time ever.
They just don't have a viable offensive threat. Last year they could run Guy off screens for a shot, or have Hunter or Jerome go 1 on 1. Diakite went from a 4th option to option #1 and Clark went from like the 7th option to the 2nd. None of new guys have stepped up.
Correct. Defense is still one of the best in the country, just can't find someone that can handle the ball when it matters. Oh well, this is a good year for the young guys to learn.
Yeah, plus you have the title to fall back on. Jerome and Guy really helped their stock during that run. I'd gladly take the trade of them balling out last March and leaving, than not playing as well and staying and who knows if UVA wins it this year without Hunter.
that's enough bragging
some of us can't even beat UNC Charlotte on the road
Oh, absolutely. A natty is better than anything that can be thrown UVa's way. I don't blame any of the guys for leaving, their stock was peak. Besides, we could be in UNC's shoes.
Clemson owning the state of NC for the first time ever. 8th place in the ACC is a miracle. I figured last place at the beginning of the season.
Danny Manning still hasn't beaten Clemson, btw
at this point, i'm kinda rooting for him to become the worst ACC coach in history
i was a little bummed that he took it to BC the other night
also, i'm all in on this hot take:
there are a significant amount of coaches in Division I basketball that could take the talent on this Wake Forest team and make them a NCAA tournament team
Manning, on the other hand, is going to make sure this Wake team finishes with at least 17-18 losses.
