It’s 15 minutes we’re talking… If he was good enough to play for Steve Kerr he’s good enough for this short rotation.
Odd they haven't utilized him more. I liked that signing for Denver.

Big man that made 38% of his treys last season with the Warriors.

At best...AD gets and stays healthy...which makes the Mavs contenders. They were already contenders to a point because they made the finals last year...AD makes them contenders with a star level player in the middle. If they win a title...it becomes worth it.

What makes it bad is the ages. The Lakers got a guy they can build around for the next 7-10 years while the Mavs got a guy who, again, assuming he stays healthy can be "built around" for the next 3ish years.

Yea unless he shocks us all it would seem his table would fall off pretty quick

Sure but still not getting $44M even with Rozier off books and Kyrie likely wants a LT deal. I doubt he takes less than 10M+ year less.

Who else can offer him 40M+

I’m no cap expert but everything I heard from the Heat podcast I listen to is they will have money to make or at least try to make a big move next summer

Go look up their salary cap. 178 mill committed.

You ain't getting Irving in a trade for Rozier and Robinson.

LOL.

People on here got to learn how to read better lol

I said nothing about Duncan or nothing about Kyrie being traded

My Rozier point was separate. He’s a bad player and the Heat can get him off the team if they choose to in the summer as he is an expiring contract but he and Kyrie about free agents next summer so moving him isn’t mandatory if they don’t want to.

Brown open for an uncontested 3 and hits

Hello, why is he open?

Want to win, beat anyone?

take away the 3 , force the 2 , and until the adjustment is made, anyone will beat anyone.

Yeah next summer in 2026. I agree.

Kyrie will be 34. I would give him a 2-3 year deal at $40M bc that will likely be less than 1/4 of the cap at the time. Projected cap for 26-27 will be around $170M

Kyrie will be 34 at the time of his next contract. Jimmy butler just got 55 plus mil annually at age 35.

Kyrie would be stupid to opt in to that contract next summer
You said it yourself.

His player option is 44 mill. You said he would be stupid to take it

LOL
