Also knowing how close Kyrie and Luka are, I don’t think he appreciates the Mavs nonstop attempts to shit on Luka after the trade

Well we know enough about him to know if he feels that way not much else will matter.

Chet out with that ankle tonight in San Antonio. Hopefully he plays tomorrow night at home against Houston.

Kyrie can leave next summer and I think he does
It will be interesting. I think he has been comfortable in Dallas than at any point in his career. If Luka is still there, pretty confident he stays. Now I would lean leaving.

Only thing is who can offer him the money and still contend…

If Rozier wasn’t on the books I would agree. He has another year. He isn’t getting close to $44M and with Rozier they can’t pay him at all
Miami has 178 mill on the books next season. No cap space at all.

And who would they trade for Irving?

Irving will be in Dallas next season.

Not often I agree w/ DJ but I don’t see Kyrie going anywhere… I think he wants the full experience playing with AD.
He more than likely opts in and works on an extension or opts out and resigns a better deal with the Mavs.

He will be there next season but I think he opts out after next season for one last big contract. Also don't think he is happy how the front office handled the aftermath of the Luka trade

It’s 15 minutes we’re talking… If he was good enough to play for Steve Kerr he’s good enough for this short rotation.
He wasn’t good enough to play for Kerr. Played him some early in the season, he was so bad he barely saw the court after

Expiring contracts are easy to move. I think Rozier is on another team next season
Sure but still not getting $44M even with Rozier off books and Kyrie likely wants a LT deal. I doubt he takes less than 10M+ year less.

Who else can offer him 40M+
