The only thing I worry about is them wearing themselves down putting too much into the regular season. But you got to let them run, you can’t take that out of them. I have to think they understand all of that. The most beautiful thing about where the Thunder are right now is literally everything is about basketball. No egos, no petty bickering, and all of that comes across on the court. It all starts with Shai being that way, everyone follows his lead. Here we are mid season and the effort on the defensive end of the court is there every night. It’s fun to be a fan of this team.

They are young enough I wouldn’t worry about that.

Playoff experience and injury I think would concern me more.

Why wasn’t he leading before?

Because Jokic has been playing at an absurdly high level. Even better than before.

But SGA will get it this year. What OKC is doing is too difficult to ignore. And he has been awesome.

I agree. They are going to have such a lead I have to think about the 65 game mark they will focus on making sure everyone is ready. Hopefully that includes Chet.

@thunderc is correct

If OKC is able to cash in a couple assets to trade for a vet big…

The type who would be able to contribute in certain matchups, but also be okay playing sparingly in others, they will be really hard to beat this spring.

Especially if Holmgren is able to get back anywhere close to 100% for the playoffs.

We still have not seen their ideal lineup play a single game this season.
Of the names I’ve seen mentioned the one I like the most is Isaiah Stewart. I think he would be a good fit and could find a few minutes even after Chet and Hartenstein are back.

He's playing so well for the Pistons we will try to extract a lot from you for him.

We have a lot to give, but Presti will use voodoo magic not to give up much

I don't love giving up Stew without getting another big back, but who you giving up in that scenario ?

Apparently, proofreading isn't a thing anymore. This "perfect hypothetical trade" idea has the Lakers receiving Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt, Jalen Hood-Schifino, a 2029 first round pick and a 2025 2nd round pick by sending the Hawks Onyeka Okongwu and Bogdan Bogdanovich.

It was error filled starting with the word "perfect"

You think what the Lakers did with Kobe worked? It did not, it killed them for a decade.

I'd say it ultimately worked just fine once they jettisoned Jimmy Buss. It's not about the treatment of Kobe, it's about the idiot progeny at the wheel in all matters. As rudderless as things sometimes seem with Jeanie, her brother was a total shit show.

Their treatment of Kobe ultimately helped lure Lebron. Honoring your franchise players is a must to keep that destination franchise status.
