to clarify- i cant remember if they had a really bad game before this or not.....i feel one of the hawks games was pretty bad-

OK? And the Bulls won all the titles except when Jordan was out. Then the 1 star team did twice. But it was that guy not Ewing or whatever.

He had good support players in an era when every other star had basically the same situation.

Sure but it is weird they just played a great game you would think Cavs would show up for the rematch

It shouldn’t. There is a reason Vegas has the Thunder basically a cofavorite with the Celtics now. People can still get some great odds on the Cavs though. Be worth a few bucks on both.

Sometimes when you get beat right away it kinda snowballs. They never really had a shot after they got behind by so much early, especially on the road.

It was the 2nd game where Donovan played poorly against OKC. They won the first and got crushed in the 2nd.

Yep.

Donovan is the real story of the 2 matchups.

If Dort is able to contain him in a potential finals matchup anywhere close to as well as he did these 2 games, OKC going to get a ring.

As good as Cleveland’s other stars have been, they aren’t beating OKC 4 times without better production from Donovan Mitchell.

If OKC is able to cash in a couple assets to trade for a vet big…

The type who would be able to contribute in certain matchups, but also be okay playing sparingly in others, they will be really hard to beat this spring.

Especially if Holmgren is able to get back anywhere close to 100% for the playoffs.

We still have not seen their ideal lineup play a single game this season.

The only thing I worry about is them wearing themselves down putting too much into the regular season. But you got to let them run, you can’t take that out of them. I have to think they understand all of that. The most beautiful thing about where the Thunder are right now is literally everything is about basketball. No egos, no petty bickering, and all of that comes across on the court. It all starts with Shai being that way, everyone follows his lead. Here we are mid season and the effort on the defensive end of the court is there every night. It’s fun to be a fan of this team.
