Nice win for the Dubs, first 2 game win ‘streak’ since November 22. Kuminga missed most of the 2nd half too with a rolled ankle.

Thunder could get it done but they just have no reason to
what high level wings are on the market? if any?

a ton of teams could trade for Butler or Ingram if they wanted to

and a good team like the Thunder could trade for high level wing- but would also be giving up some of their core that makes them a good team in the first place.

best wings that MIGHT be available- if you ask me- are Porter Jr., maybe Markanenn (if you consider him a wing), I bet the Sixers wouldnt say absolutely no to Paul George (does he have a no -trade?).

Cam Johnson is available and hes pretty good. The Blazers would prob trade Grant for the right price. Maybe Indiana would trade Siakam.

I dont see one guy likely to be traded on the wing who is a big time difference maker. Though a guy like Siakam or Markannen could make a difference on a slightly above average team like the Lakers.

There's like 4 really good teams then about 20 mediocre/slightly good teams, and another 6 or so bad teams
I agree....I dont think Memphis is good enough to be in that top tier- at least not yet.

3 of the top 4 in the East makes it tough- I still think the Celtics are/should be hte consensus favorite.

OKC feels like it’s their time

They give me 2015 Warriors vibes

I’m not sure what the lakers or warriors do.

They both need a MOVE (in all caps)

But both seem to be playing on the edges

I just don’t see a way for them to land that big swing they need

Can they land 2-3 more dfs level guys?
GSW could land a big fish with Kuminga- but that obviously hurts them long term. I dont think Kuminga is a #1 build around type talent- but he could (COULD) be something like a low-level 2 or a high level #3......

I was going to say #2- but not sure if Kuminga ever gets to the point of being a #2 on a team that is a legit conference championship contender. He might- but not sure how likely.

His numbers years 1-3 look a lot like Jaylen Brown who made a leap in year 4. Was hoping Kuminga could this year but the team is so deep he can’t get enough minutes.

its possible....especially coming out of the West they might only get one tough series until the Finals....they do rely on a lot of young guys, and young teams dont win the title too often. I think they will eventually get there, but young teams rarely win an NBA finals. Curry was what? 28 when he won his first? Klay and Dray about the same?

having said that- I think the NBA is pretty short on great teams right now- so its not as difficult to win the title as maybe in past era's.

I agree about youth that’s the only thing that can stop them. They did get the playoff run out of the way last year. They have no weaknesses in their game but yes in the playoffs experience counts

The league tends to swing between super teams and parity. We’re in a parity period now. Lots of one time winners since 2018.

yah there is no all time great team in their way which is helpful.

I think it depends on the Celtics and how hungry they are and how healthy they stay. That is really really good team.

I also think the Knicks are a little interesting- they seem to be putting it together- Brunson, Towns, Bridges are all that age where guys have had experience, are still athletic, and they are hungry. OG is the exact type of wing you want as 2nd tier player.

I think the Cavs have a shot- but its still a very young team - but Mobley is starting to take the leap. I have to say- I love the way Garland has been playing. He reminds me a little of Irving-- not as good as Kyrie of course- but the last couple games I watched how he attacked and collapsed the defense. Hes been really good. Mitchell will be an All Star-- not sure who else from the Cavs will get taken- not easy to make it as bakc court player- but I would think the Cavs will get more than 1 all star considering their record.
