The Q
Hoop’s Villain, Reality’s Hero
Their answer Is build a time machine and trade for mark in July
I didn’t see the game, so obviously don’t know the specifics. But, many times when the Pistons have far fewer fouls it is simply style of play and this has been true against the Hornets many times. Cade does not drive hard all the way to the hoop and Ball does.
It’s been their weakness for years. Starters wear down in the 2H. Cavs did the same to them.Good article about how the Thunder exploited a big weakness for the Knicks, their bench. 70 bench minutes to 30 for the Knicks is pretty telling.
Who wants Jimmy who isn’t a contender? Why would they want him at his age unless they get him at a discount
That’s why I think Denver makes sense. I think MPJ is a good fit but are they interested in him…And what contender has the cap space and/or would be willing to part with what Miami is likely to demand?

Jimmy don’t play at elevation, better check with JimmyI feel Denver makes the most sense
It doesn’t matter at this point. Pat will move him for the best dealJimmy don’t play at elevation, better check with Jimmy

Twas but an example. Pistons generally settle for jumpers instead of pushing through contact. Results in a FT disparity.Ball didnt play lol

And? Detroit doesn’t play a style to draw fowls and reaches a lot on defense, generally speaking. So, it is not unusual to see them on the short side of the free throw count. This does seem a bit extreme, but without having seen the game I can not be too particularly outraged.Let me say it again
27 fouls to 7
Not free throws. Fouls.
Lakers don't want Jimmy because Redick was hired on a developing-the-young-talent agenda and he is sticking to that strategy. Right now, it is working. With the emergence of Christie (which made DRuss expendable), Hachimura, Reddish, Western Knecht, Reaves, and Koloko, to name a few, trading for Milton and DFS made sense and all of it is now making no room for people like Jimmy Butler and Brando Ingram.Who wants Jimmy who isn’t a contender?
