Been noticing for at least 2 years now but Ben Taylor is probably the ref the players dislike most

What I can’t figure out. It makes no sense.

What's there to figure out? Don't know why people are making this so complicated as Butler has communicated his intentions the entire time. The last 2 to 3 seasons we've seen him want the Heat to trade for another all star. They didn't do it. He said he wanted an extension early, they hesitated. He never openly blasted the team until recently, usually doing no more than other star player does thru media with agent leaks, and then Pat Riley basically told him to shut the fuck up publicly in a press conference. Jimmy was done then and there. Butler and Riley have been giving each other the finger ever since. The Heat were complete dumbasses not trading him in the offseason. They aren't contenders and are delusional if they truly thought that going into the season with largely the same roster. The reason they didn't do the trade was mostly spite. And why wouldn't Jimmy just sit back and play out his contract and do a sign and trade like that complete buffoon Barry Jackson phrased it? Because the new CBA makes sign and trades really hard. The way the CBA is written, it is by far better for a player to force a trade in season than it to hit free agency. He's making the best move for him by the structure of the league rules, one that pretty much any player would.

Pat Riley has had issues with pretty much all his stars towards the end. Shaq, Lebron, even Wade, it didn't end pretty. They all later made up, but there was still friction that caused things to get rocky. This isn't all on Butler. Pat Riley is just as big a stubborn asshole.

Donovan Mitchell at 31.5 minutes a night. Last 2 seasons with the Cavs he was over 35 minutes a game

SGA 34.4
Jokic 36.9
Tatum 36.4
Brunson 34.9

Cavs are getting it done and their best guys are not even playing big minutes. True team- depth- even though the full roster has not yet been together totally.

Cavs go on a West Coast trip - Denver, Golden State, LA Lakers, and Dallas- win every game but double-digits.

:nono:

Yo...dude.....Denver & Dallas are not on the west coast.

So the Jim-Me of old is back in the building…

Question is what team is dumb enough to get even older and trade considerable assets for him?

Forgot the Pacers played the cHeat the other night… A feather in our cap in this rivalry that we just ended the Butler era in Miami.:heh:

Though too often ignored, it was always known that they couldn’t beat us in a playoff series until the brawl decimated our franchise and altered the NBA’s agenda as a whole…

You play yourself acting like the Pacers were some type of victims of the Mailce in the Palace.

There were a lot of things wrong that night.

But damn. Ron Artest should have gone to jail and been kicked out of the league for life. That is how bad his response was. He ran up into the stands and attacked a fan because he got a beer thrown on him. AND, the man he attacked wasn’t even the person who threw the beer.

The fan who threw the beer and Artest should have both been charged criminally and banned. Many other fans should have also caught criminal changers. Other players (Wallace, JO, Captain Jack) should have all received lengthy suspensions. JO probably should have been 10 games or less. I think he got too much.

It was a messed up situation.

But Artest got off light.

The guy who threw the beer did get criminal charges.

Teams wait too long when they know these situations are coming (Simmons, harden, Ingram, butler)

But jimmys history makes him a much less sympathetic character

Deserved

At least once a year he comes on here and whines about how the Pacers got screwed by the league.

Not what happened.

It is

Ben Wallace and the pistons started it

Vernon Maxwell got 10 games for actually throwing a punch

Absurd inflation on the penalty

Not at all, a fan did something stupid and Artests crazy ass ran into the stands.

The fan got a felony and spent 30 days in jail. It was in the Netflix doc

The fact he keeps whining about this is lame as hell.

The only reason Artest didn't get a punch off is because Wallaces brother grabbed his arm lol.

Wallace got 6 games

Jackson got 30 for going in the crowd.

Jermaine O Neal only got less because the fan came on the court.
