Dlo trade value is already down bad. They badly need a PG that can defend and create. Reaves isn't a point, Russell is struggling hard and is likely gone if he doesn't kill his trade value and the rook isn't close to ready. Finally getting more home games in January, maybe that helps a little.
Celtics and Danny have been discussing Olynyk since last Thursday.I don't know that getting the better of Ainge twice in two years will be that easy. I'm not sure Sexton is the answer either. Make it Dunn and Olynyk and save DLo or Gabe for another deal
I don’t know that anyone considers Pritchard to be a prize. It will likely take draft compensation for the Celtics to get anything done.Celtics and Danny have been discussing Olynyk since last Thursday.
Celtics are reportedly willing to deal PG Payton Pritchard. There's PG that will hand out 10 assists , get you 5-7 rebounds and score 7/10 3's if you need points. Sounds like the Lakers, Jazz and Celtics might have a three way fit. Unless the Clippers move first.
Not all the games of the long drawn out regular season sponsored by pfizer and geico are important. If you have a 4 to 6 week injury you flat out shouldn’t be eligible for full season awards. Just how it is, it’s not a career thing or a popularity contest, it’s who had the best year. Time out counts.
60 would be drastic and of course will never happen, but man didn't the 72 game Covid season feel like a much better amount? Not all the games of the long drawn out regular season sponsored by pfizer and geico are important.
The season should be 60 games with more days rest and more practices to improve the product on the floor. Not all games are equal. Especially when there is an exorbitant amount of them.
He knows there are too many games. Needs to be fresh for the playoffs.Jimmy is lucky he does what he do in the playoffs because him missing 20 plus games yearly is tiring and probably cost this team multiple top 3 seeds
Oh yeah I'm really dreaming for the day when humanoid robots playing perfect basketball on the moon all day is live streamed directly into your eye balls.I really don't understand why folks continue to call for fewer games even though everyone knows they aren't going to change it. The owners will never go for it because of the revenue they'd lose and the players will never go for it because they'd have to take a pay cut.
Revenue is why they keep finding ways to expand the playoffs. We're lucky they aren't trying to add more regular season games.
Heck, they've actually already taken a step in that direction with the IST as the Lakers and Pacers will have played an 83rd game that doesn't count in the standings with stats that don't get added to the regular season totals. Outside of the trophy and banner, the NBA is treating that game like it never happened.

66 sounds good. Home/away vs 25 teams, home/away x2 in the division.

Since divisions are almost meaningless now I suspect they would do 4 divisions of 8Then again, there 2 teams getting added relatively soon, so that would change things. 16 teams per conference, likely go from 6 divisions of 5 teams each to 8 divisions of 4 teams each, etc.

Coming from somebody that never played it I am sure.It is absolutely hilarious to see teams sit players for a back to back.
Basketball is not a grueling enough sport that you cant play in back to back games. Hell every single NBA player at some point in high school probably played 3 or more games in a single day. Let alone 2 in 2 days.
3 games in 3 days was not unheard of 20 years ago.

Not really no, just move Memphis to the East where they belong.Sure, that would work too, although geographically could get a little silly.
